We were in Paris in May, we considered other options, but in order to take more money we stopped at Marena and did not lose.
Convenient location of the hotel right between five metro stations, we only went to Possionere because on the way you can go to the local market. In it, we took sliced u200bu200band bread to make sandwiches for a walk. It is also convenient to walk to the Opera or Montmartre.
As soon as we entered the hotel, we were given the keys to the 4th floor, the only elevator did not work that day and we had to climb a steep staircase with luggage. We immediately met one of the maids who understands only French, after doing a little cleaning she left and we were able to unpack our things normally.

Breakfast in hotels from 7.30 to 10.00, the dining room is located on the ground floor and consists of two small rooms. They are fed in the morning with cereal, boiled eggs and chopped fruit salad, coffee and tea, of course, nothing special except croissants, they are excellent here, fresh and big, I just came for breakfast for them.
They cleaned our house every day, changed towels and made the bed, so there is nothing to complain about.
From the second day, the elevator started working and it was already much more pleasant to move from the room to the dining room and then back to the ground floor to the exit hall.
I read complaints about theft in the hotel, nothing of the kind was noticed during the five days of our stay, all the money that we had was left in a suitcase under lock and key and the local safe (pantry) was not seen in the eyes.
There were several administrators at the reception (they changed during the day), they all understand a little English, so there were no problems.
A pleasant surprise was free Wi-Fi right in the room with a good connection (Marena 4 or Marena 6) for the first couple of days there was no Internet, but when we discovered it was possible to check the news and the weather.
There is nothing more to add, an average hotel to sleep, eat and watch Paris then all over again.
