The hotel is located right in the center of Chamonix. From it it is convenient to get to all ski stations and all places of entertainment and city life are in close proximity. This is perhaps the ONLY plus of the hotel. However, be prepared for the fact that living in this hotel, at two in the morning you will have to listen to the joyful drunken cries of people walking home from the bars. There is also a constant smell of smoke in the room due to the veranda with burning torches in front of the hotel. The hotel administration behaves in a boorish way, they absolutely do not consider tourists. Arrogant, arrogant and rude. The food is not very tasty. THE HOTEL IS STEALING. Two weeks ago, Salomon boots were stolen from a shared ski-room that had a sign stating that boots and ski equipment MUST be left here. At this, the hotel management shrugged their shoulders, saying that they did not bear any responsibility and turned their backs. A trip to the police did not give anything, because according to the policeman "this is not a criminal offense". From the words of the guide, we realized that the hotel has a bad reputation among companies, since all left/forgotten/stolen things are NOT returned and the owner of the hotel does not really care. The impression of the rest was greatly spoiled.
