We got up at 6 am, had breakfast and drove through Germany. Sanitary stop, but how clean! Sanzone is paid, 70 cents. The euro currency is convenient. And if you still buy something in a minimarket at a gas station, then 50 cents are deducted from the cost of the goods, as if they are returned, and a visit to the sanzone already costs only 20 cents. We bought a couple of chocolates. We cross the Rhine and enter France.

Early rise, promised in the first half of the day a long transfer of 501 km somehow did not set up for the next city. Even the photos at first are somehow inexpressive and we are sleepy on them. And very sorry.

We arrived in Strasbourg at about two o'clock. The city is truly beautiful and original: the grandiose sandstone Gothic Strasbourg Cathedral (during the tour we went inside), the unusual architecture of the city itself, the small river streets with graceful bridges and neat multi-colored houses immersed in water and flowers. The windows of small shops with sweets and storks in souvenir shops beckoned, but we ran past them under the guide's story without stopping and at such a speed that even the photos were not sharp. By the way, the guide was great.

In the morning on the track we got stuck in a traffic jam and we are running out of time. After half an hour of the review, I wanted to stay in the city for at least a day and take a walk. But, alas, half an hour of free time in the city sounded like a mockery. We pulled ourselves up, smiled, remembered the promise to ourselves not to spoil our mood with any trifles, and for half an hour we run around the central square of the town.

Here the problem of language was immediately felt. In the Czech Republic, everyone, more or less, understands both Russian and Ukrainian, but here their native French. And also with English, the locals have problems, not only are those who understand and can answer rarely met, but also the pronunciation is very peculiar. But this does not prevent you from buying a couple of souvenirs as a keepsake.

As a result, Strasbourg was included in the list of cities that I would like to see and did not work out not even because of lack, but because of the complete lack of time. At least an hour and a half and it was already possible to say that we were there. And so the city is more remembered by a few fuzzy photos than by my own feelings. The river and flowers - that's how I remember Strasbourg. And the goal is to come back and take a walk.

We left at about five. And then the road to Paris 480 km (yes, today is the day of the longest transfer) and a settlement in a suburban hotel where we will spend two nights.

By the way, this was the first day when I realized that it was necessary to stock up on sandwiches on the bus. For the whole day there was not even a hint of a stop for lunch, and for half an hour given to explore the city, it was unrealistic to have a bite to eat. We managed with cookies, yogurts bought at gas stations, and roasted chestnuts, which we managed to grab in Strasbourg immediately after the tour.
