Welcome all.

I decided to write my review about the hotel, because I did not find any information on the Internet other than advertising before my trip. I want to help those who decide on the choice of a hotel in the French ski resort of Tignes.

So, in order:
1) The hotel is positioned as a two-star hotel, which is quite true, however, the place is quite comfortable.

2) The room has a stove, microwave, all the necessary glass and metal utensils.

3) There are two Sherpa supermarkets near the hotel, where you can stock up on breakfast products (optional, lunch, dinner). I recommend the store on the main street, that is, you need to take a special street elevator from the hotel to the second level of Val Claret.

4) In general, in Tignes, not a single cafe will feed you breakfast before 12 o'clock - a minus for those who do not know how to get food. On the first day I had to go through several hungry hours walking from restaurant to restaurant.

5) The hotel is decent. If your goal is to ride, and then come to sleep, and then go hang out in two available clubs and a dozen bars, the place will do. The main backbone of vacationers - the French, a few British.

6) There were no problems with water - hot and cold, only for some reason the batteries are always turned off at night - apparently the hotel staff believes that the room gets very hot during the day. Although in all honesty, this did not cause any particular problems, unless you take into account dampish towels in the morning.

7) From the hotel to the left about 200 meters there are 3 lifts to the main routes. In the same direction and one of the Sherpa stores, and equipment rentals. By the way, the ski pass for a week is 215 euros, the rental of boards and boots is 126 euros. It is better to take everything from the operator - they give a discount.

8) Saunas. There are two of them. Male and female. Not large, two-level, for four people. The pool is also not very huge - 10 meters by 4 meters.
9) There is a TV in the room, where they show 3 Russian channels - RTR. Planet, Russia24, and (? ) ShansonTV - neighing.

10) The girls at the reception will be kind to you exactly two stars, and not a ray more. When asked where to get garbage bags, they will seriously answer that they have to be bought at the supermarket.

11) The room is not cleaned. This is the responsibility of the guest. The room even has a vacuum cleaner. Upon check-out, you will be required to return your room, which will be tidy and clean. At the entrance to the hotel, for example, they took my passport as a deposit. I didn't really mind. But it was a good incentive to tidy up a little on departure.

12) There is ski storage and a separate boot locker. Your key will fit the ski locker, the shoe locker and your room.

13) In general, I liked everything. For there is great wisdom: "Tourist, you are the master of your emotions and your pleasure. " If you go there to grumble, you will not like everything.
If the mood is good, then the number may even seem cozy over time. I'll tell you a secret that we called it only "chicken coop". Loving.
