Last week we returned from a week-long holiday at the Tignes Val Claret Club Med ski resort in France. There are so many positive impressions that I want to share.
So, the first is a very convenient online booking system. You can choose a tour with or without a flight, if desired (we took with a flight, so as not to bother). During the booking process, you indicate everything that you will need during your vacation, from the list of necessary ski equipment (skis, boards, helmets, boots). Then, 30 days before departure, you receive a questionnaire in the mail, where you indicate all the information - foot size, skiing level. Very convenient, you come to the resort, and the necessary equipment is already in the locker and waiting for you.
We were met at the airport and taken to the hotel. There was no red tape, they were already waiting for us at the reception, they gave us the keys, they showed us to the room - everything was very fast and polite. Luggage, of course, helped to lift.

The next morning we immediately went for a ride. The ski pass is included in the price for the entire stay, there are instructors certified by ESF. The tracks are beautiful, of varying difficulty, the exit is organized very conveniently, the views around are breathtaking. For an additional fee, you can ride a snowmobile, walk in snowshoes or go ice skating. In general, we had a very active time, and I just got a lot of pleasure, everything is so well organized.
Separately about food. It's just a holiday! Our family loves to have fun, especially to eat, so the buffets at ClubMed amazed us and surprised us with their quality and variety. Everything is very tasty like in the best restaurants, unlimited like in a Turkish hotel and included in the price, like everything in ClubMed resorts.
In general, to be honest, these are all such boring details, but I was mostly struck by the level of recreation organization. Guests are really guests, and the attitude is appropriate. The organizers understand that people come to unplug and relax, so they seem to have foreseen all their desires in advance, and when you arrive, you no longer care about anything, everything is provided and done, you paid once - and that’s it, you don’t even need to think more. It remains only to relax and unwind. For comparison, last year we went to the Austrian Schladming. It would seem that it is also a European resort, but at the same time, the rest turned out to be so-so, because it was constantly necessary to resolve some issues - order a transfer, then pay for a ski pass, then figure out where to have dinner, then figure out where to have fun in the evening. At the same time, despite the budget of Schladming, the cost turned out to be even more, because. food, alcohol, ski passes - all for a fee. In fact, when buying, we only paid for accommodation, we even paid for tickets and transfers and looked for them ourselves.
In general, from ClubMed I have only delight and a desire to plunge into this atmosphere of total relaxation again, I liked everything very much!
