Without enthusiasm ...although the eyes have not yet been spoiled by the beauties of London. But still, I will single out a paragraph or two. Boring. In the imagination, a picture was drawn of student parties, fraternities, etc. And what turned out was a bunch of students greedily cramming books - that's where these geniuses come from. In addition, it was hot and we, in a coat, had no time for walking. Old churches, colleges, cafes ...in general, an ordinary English city, not impressed. Having eaten and drunk well at the event for which the visa was made, we left with peace of mind.

Let me remind you that we are talking about students traveling around the UK and the most important aspect of the trip was to get the maximum experience at minimal cost. Instead of spending the night in the apartments further, we moved out and, having bought tickets for the night bus to Glasgow in advance, were already preparing to get to know Scotland. I will say this, if you are not 21 years old and your height is not 160 cm, there is nothing to be led to such scams.

8 hours moving, slept tolerably (but still slept! ). Tip: if you are already gathered, then come to the station 1 hour before departure to take the most convenient places. On the way back, we encountered a situation that we had to travel separately and lean on someone else's guy in a dream, which would be, to put it mildly, uncivilized.

Glasgow is a pretty city, but the weather didn't work out for them. We went into the store - the sun, went out - it was already raining. And so the whole day. It can be seen that the roads here are almost the same as ours: patches, potholes, rubbish in places. Not the capital, although the 3rd largest city in Britain. There are few sights, the central square is beautiful, the bridge across the river. Clyde. Souvenirs are more expensive than in London, but clothes in stores (not chain stores) are of high quality and cheap. If hunger torments you very, very much, visit Pizza Hut.

7 pounds and you are in a gastronomic paradise: salads (I can live on them alone), pizza ...and eat-eat ...It’s difficult with our mentality : ) After all, it seems that I ate deliciously, but I still need to : ) To recapture 7 pounds. Such memories remained even after the first trip. There are few tourists, locals are all in a hurry somewhere. We were going to stop in Glasgow, but at the last moment changed our minds and took tickets to Edinburgh - after all, very close. When picking up things from the storage room, it did not open, which is why the bus was delayed for 10 minutes, which is not acceptable in a punctual country.

One and a half hours on the bus and we already see the famous castle. Here it is, Scotland. Picturesque mountains, magnificent sheep were seen along the way - as a symbol. Much more interesting than Glasgow, there is where to walk. We stayed in an apartment with a “screaming” shower, it was possible to go deaf there, but it was a 7-minute walk to the center and the bus station.

True, there was one incident - the croutons in the toaster burned and the fire alarm went off. It squeaked terribly, the neighbors were in shock : ) In the supermarket, we first checked the documents when buying beer. Remember to always have them with you.

Do not be too lazy to climb the hill, from where you can see the Fort, and the beautiful island in the middle, and the port, and all of Edinburgh. Beautiful photos are obtained if the day is sunny. And don't forget warm clothes - it was so cold after +23 in London that we had to put on warm clothes. The wind penetrates to the bone, a scarf is required. Unfortunately, I have less knowledge about this city than about London. I was not interested in advance, but in vain. We have explored Princess Street, the Royal Mile and the Castle. Medieval beautiful.

Separately about people: much easier than the British.

I was surprised that an elderly couple sitting on a nearby bench did not remark that we were smoking (I draw an analogy with formidable Ukrainian grandmothers wielding canned tomatoes and a brave obscenity), but simply moved. Their language deserves special attention: at first it is difficult to understand English, but with some German pronunciation.

Whiskey ...There are many specialized stores, but in Duty free you can find it cheaper, but you can’t shove these bottles across the country, which we did. Scottish wool is expensive...who needs a £.100 regular sweater?

I regret that there was very little time for Scotland, with pleasure I will visit the lakes and the northern islands at the next opportunity. Yes, and in the absence of knowledge about the place where you are going, it is difficult. You don't know where to go and what to do with yourself. Don't repeat my mistakes! ! !

Thank you paragraph: thanks to everyone who read it; thanks to my parents who have not yet discharged me from home for non-attendance and paid for the trip; thanks to kind people who did not get angry and repeated over and over again slowly; thanks to the old lady of Britain, who so kindly issued a multivisa. I will be back, for sure!

God save the queen! ! !
