Just returned from Georgia!! ! So many impressions that can not be expressed in words. Were there for the first time. We got fed up with Turkey and decided to try something new, but not too cosmic prices and fly not far. This summer somehow the choice fell on Georgia. Either advertising played a role, or I wanted to visit a country friendly in spirit... Yes, and a lot has been heard about the beauty of nature from friends.
We flew by charter to Batumi, which is very convenient. Upon arrival by bus and we are already at the hotel. We chose a hotel in the same Batumi so as not to travel far. We lived in Era Palace. Although three stars, but a very decent hotel. Service at the highest level. A big plus for us as entertainment lovers is that the hotel is in the very center of the city. To the sea to go 5 minutes, well, a maximum of ten. Of course, the hotel looks somehow too pretentious, business-like, but this did not affect our super vacation. Cleanliness, service, breakfast, pool, entertainment - everything was at such a high level that we felt like very important guests. Oh yes, and we paid all this not so dearly. In Turkey, which is familiar to us, I think it would have turned out the same or even more expensive.
And what was the sea....Clean, warm, majestic mountains around. . . Exotic plants all around. What is worth visiting the Batumi Botanical Garden. In this city, you can have a good time and at the same time enjoy untouched nature and historical heritage. Well, talking about Georgian cuisine is simply impossible without delight. It seems to me that this is one of the most amazing cuisines in the world. Eating there becomes a real ritual of getting gastronomic pleasure. We would like to try everything, but we simply would not have enough time for this. Prices are certainly not the lowest. But quite optimal. Georgia is a wonderful hospitable country. Recommend!
