Continuation. Start here:

Part 1

Day 6. Gamarjoba, sea))

The new place brought a sweet dream. Full of strength, we had breakfast at 8 am and set off to reconnoiter the territory. Ureki are preparing for the opening of the season, polish is being brought everywhere. Part of the beach is closed, after the storm it will be cleaned with special equipment, as the locals explained to us. But the other part was open and nothing prevented us from finally plunging into the sea waves)

The lunch break reminded of itself at 14:00 with the flavors of Ukrainian cuisine: borscht, a bowl of salad (cucumbers, tomatoes, a lot of delicious greens), boiled young potatoes and seafood - fresh salmon fried in batter. Let's just say: the sea had to wait)))

I was impressed not only by the beach itself, but also by the organization: the lifeguards closely monitor the swimmers so that they don’t get swept away by the current and just don’t be covered by a wave, a police patrol on a pickup truck drives along the beach - vacationers are treated with great care, which made me very happy.

For dinner at 20:00 there was a ratatouille from the chef and Alias for dessert (a game like "get me"). It’s a pity they didn’t film it, with what horror, it turns out, you can try to explain the hidden word “paint”))) - the stomachs simply could not stand it from laughter). Tomorrow promises to be busy, so everyone went to the side around 23. Good night) see you tomorrow)

Day 7. Nothing foreshadowed extreme. . . )))

The morning was marked by unobtrusive clouds and a very hearty breakfast of pancakes (with fruit dressing) and oatmeal with bananas at 8:00. Already at 9 we left the guest house towards the unknown. As it turned out, this is not just a figure of speech - most of the locals shrugged their hands in surprise when we tried to ask for directions. Our driver brilliantly coped with the task, but let's not get ahead of events)

We reached Kutaisi by 10:15, and at 12 we stepped on the threshold of the park near the Prometheus cave. The words got stuck in my throat - all that remained was to admire this beauty, I think you will understand me)))

We reached the surface at 12:40, the front engine was waiting for us to take us directly to the parking lot. On this day, apparently, not only we had a good idea to visit the cave - there were a lot of people, even too much. But our guide Ira quickly arranged for our group to pass with the next group of tourists, so we didn’t have to wait (the entrance ticket is more expensive than last year - already 7 GEL per person). Especially for us, all the information was duplicated in Russian, so there was no question of any discomfort.

Having traveled at 13:15 the central fountain of Kutaisi, decorated with gilded animal figurines, we began to look for the Okatse canyon. The task turned out to be of increased complexity, because the canyon was opened for tourists only in the fall of last year. But the height was taken: we reached Zeda Gorji, where the tourist center is located, at about 15:30 and, after a light snack (our hostess could not let us go hungry in the mountains, but she could let us go with a set of Georgian cheese, boiled eggs, Ukrainian bacon, tomatoes and cucumbers), went on a hike to the gorge (entry - 5 GEL per person). The park impressed with unobtrusive amenities in the form of stone benches and tables, small groups of picnic stumps, which did not spoil the overall picture at all.

The hot sun tested us for endurance at the same time as nature, from which it simply took our breath away (this is already becoming some kind of good tradition). It seemed to us that there was no strength left when at 17:00 we went to the observation deck - a second wind opened up somehow imperceptibly, but there was something). The way back took much less time - at 18:15 we left Okatse for Martvili. It took us an hour to get there. Upon arrival, seeing a huge number of vacationers, we decided that we had enough extreme sports for today, but our guide had other plans: the previous walking tour gave way to rafting on a boat through blue water between the rocks. Calm waters suddenly gave way to rapids and waterfalls (which waded over the stones, but how grateful our tired legs were to this massage in clear cool water! ), And the level of adrenaline in the blood jumped again). No matter how scared we were, we could not take our eyes off this beauty - see for yourself).

Having settled in the car at 20:00, we realized how many feats we had today) and, pleased with ourselves and this day, we went home. On the way back, we were delayed by a traffic jam due to an accident. Here again I was struck by the work of the Georgian police: the patrol, in addition to resolving the accident itself, notified all the drivers standing on the road about the reasons for the stop and about the approximate time to remove the obstacles. The guys are very attentive and professionally perform their duties. The laid table was waiting for us at 22:30, so we were sincerely grateful to our hostess and ate everything to the crumbs (the society of clean plates)). And tomorrow will be tomorrow))) Good night)

Day 8. Do not distract from the sea! ) The sea can only be interrupted for a meal. For example, pasta with stewed pork and salad at 9 a. m. for breakfast, pea soup, fried chicken with rice and salad for lunch at 2 p. m. : 00 on the terrace. And so - the sea... warm, clean, gentle sea... what else is needed for happiness? ) See you tomorrow)

Day 9. 50 Shades of the Sea)

Good morning! Not even that – Very Good Morning!! ! By breakfast at 9:00, I get enough sleep: I have so much strength that I head to the sea already at half past seven. A deserted beach behind a line of ship pines (or maybe not ship pines, but they still look impressive)) meets with a quiet rustle of waves... drawn to poetry). In fact - it's really quiet, the sea is only slightly worried - just right to wake up.

During the day the sea changedmore than once and very abruptly: only 15 minutes - and almost calm was replaced by small waves, which are so great to ride). Or the azure water caressed by the sun just as quickly began to look like dark thunderclouds threateningly approaching from the horizon. Watching these metamorphoses is very interesting, and most importantly: when you lie on the black sand and look at the sea, a tan sticks very quickly).

We saw off one of the vacationers to typical Belarusian zucchini pancakes and a magnificent omelette with tomatoes for breakfast. We dined with what God sent, and today God sent us buckwheat soup, boiled new potatoes and fried sea fish named salmon. The sea is the sea, and dinner is on schedule: at 20:00, stewed rice with vegetables and marshmallow for dessert completely captured our attention, because it is very tasty). The rain drummed on the roof, subtly hinting that it was already time for bed, because something very interesting was coming tomorrow. Let's see. . . ))) See you tomorrow)))
