Location…

Location in the village of Ureki means the location is 3 km from the village.

Therefore, your desire to walk around the village, see the surroundings and buy fruits and sweets for children will be possible only when walking along an open country road, or going out to the highway and taking a minibus / taxi. The nearest market where you can buy fruits and some things is in Poti at a distance of 15 km.
Beach…
A clean beach means that it is located 300m from a mountain river (and not 600m as according to the website), through which all the garbage gets into the sea and onto the beach. The main value of Ureki beach is magnetic sand. But on the beach of the hotel you can take advantage of this if you clean the sand from debris yourself. Of course, they are trying to remove large debris from the hotel's beach area, but it is impossible to take healing procedures in the sand on the beach that has been removed.
Along the entire coastal strip, except for the hotel's beach area, there are mountains of garbage from plastic bottles, bags and other results of human activity, and even medical syringes. During the stay there was a heavy downpour, and the mountain river brought more trees. For the locals, this is a holiday, because only by collecting the remains of trees on the beach, they can provide themselves with firewood. For vacationers, this is a problem with the polluted sea and coast. Nature, everyone understands, nothing can be foreseen. But in the village of Ureki, they began cleaning the coast immediately the next day, at the hotel, after repeated requests, turning into demands and only a section of their beach.
Sea…
The sea is really shallow and warm enough for children. But, as stated above, its purity can only be discussed after bacteriological analyses.
No comment...After a downpour, when the sea managed to become a little like the sea, they forbade the child of the owners' relatives to swim in the sea. At the same time, everyone else was not told anything about the ban on swimming, and everyone came with their children and continued to swim in the sea.
Nutrition…
Thanks to the Georgian chef Dato and the serving staff Nastya and Lebanon. But the cook cooks from the products that he is provided and at the cost that the people who manage the base tell him (who manages, see the beginning of my story).

According to the website, “In the restaurant menu you will always find dishes from fresh sea and river fish. All products are environmentally friendly. Supplied from a private farm in Hashmi, have the appropriate certificates. »

I'll start with the private firm Hashmi. The farm is located near Tbilisi, which is 500 km away.
Therefore, it should be clear that the daily delivery of fresh products from the company is simply not financially profitable. And of course, they don't deliver. During the stay, river trout was brought once, which on the day of delivery was really fresh and the cooked dishes were delicious. But after storage in the refrigerator, there can be no question of any freshness. Basically, all products are bought at the Poti market.
It should be noted that as a result of rain and wind, electricity was repeatedly cut off. Since there is no generator at the base, I do not discuss the conditions for storing food in refrigerators without electricity.

According to the site "Gala evenings every week. " After two weeks of our stay, the hostess arrived with the children. No one in the morning at breakfast warned about the upcoming event and, as usual, they handed out a customized menu.
Therefore, for all the residents, an evening gala dinner was presented as a great holiday, and, in my opinion, everything was arranged for the sake of meeting relatives. I will not describe the conflict that occurred with the hosts as a result of such a gala dinner, but it became a drop that overflowed the cup and led to an early departure from the hotel.
Shashlik. Only through the order for a fee. But you will not regret it - negotiate only with the chef Dato.
Accommodation…
I recommend only in a brick building, a bungalow only for extreme people and without children.
Financial questions…
The price does not correspond to the conditions of rest. For me, when deciding to rest in Georgia, the financial side mattered. At a cost two times lower than in Turkey (for the same declared conditions), but corresponds to the Crimea under the worst conditions of rest. The conclusion of the contract did not save me from solving problems in the hotel.

I do not recommend agreeing to discounts for prepayment and payment of the full amount for booking a stay for the entire period. If you wish to leave the hotel prematurely, you will be refunded the remaining amount of the accommodation only 70%, i. e. you will lose 30%. At the same time, your arguments about the discrepancy between the conditions of rest and the declared ones will not be successful. I faced such a problem and the only option, so as not to spoil the rest of my vacation, I decided to write a real review. I would like to believe that people, especially those with children who will be looking for a vacation in the village of Ureki, will take into account the above.
Finally…
On the site in the information about the hotel, only 10% of the truth - everything else is a good publicity stunt.
For 2.5 weeks of living and fighting for a vacation in accordance with the promised conditions, we did not meet a single vacationer who would want to come to the Imedy hotel again or would recommend it to others.
