To begin with, I chose the hotel myself, which is why I have only myself to blame or thank. To begin with, the main goal was to see Crete, so I chose a 3 * hotel, inexpensive, because I was only going to spend the night in the room, as well as have breakfast. After shoveling a bunch of reviews, I settled on this hotel. The hotel "all inclusive" and the price turned out to be one of the cheapest (24 thousand, including visa and insurance for 7 days). Reviews were also good at the time. So, having landed in Heraklion, after passing through passport control, comfortably seated on the bus, I began to wait for my hotel (we drove for about 1.5 hours, because we were taking people to other hotels). So, the first impression of the hotel is nothing, there is a small bay with boats nearby. It is undesirable to swim there, although the water is clear. There are sun loungers, a playground with swings and a slide, in the distance a view of Agios Nikolas opens. Next is the receptionist.
The staff does not speak Russian, but knowledge of English saved me : ) Since the main goal was excursions, and especially visiting the island of Santorini, I immediately asked the guy Dimitros (at the reception) to call the hotel guide so that the next morning I could leave for Santorini ). We must pay tribute to the staff - this is perhaps the only plus of the hotel. Helped without any problems, called. Very friendly. The placement went very quickly. So, having filled out a card at the reception and received the keys to the room, I went to the neighboring building. The neighboring kuropus is next to the main one. It is two storey. A spiral staircase leads to the second floor. It's hard to get there with a suitcase. So, with excitement I open the door of the room and ....The smell of the hospital. Number: small. There is a refrigerator in it, which worked only when you insert a magnetic card, and you can’t call it “work2” - a parody. Further - air conditioning in the hotel is paid - 5 euros per day.
I don’t understand why you can’t include it in your accommodation when you buy a tour. I decided that since I would spend the night in the room, I would do without air conditioning. Moreover, during the day it does not work, because I am not in the room, respectively, there is no light either, because the key is with me. Sleep is hard, of course. Moreover, the balcony cannot be left open, because the mosquito swarm immediately bursts into the room and storms the defenseless body. My only option is to open the balcony door and close the shutters (they have slits where air gets in). Further in the room, in addition to the refrigerator, there is a closet and a large bed. And two nightstands. all. The bathroom is also small - toilet, washbasin, shower. Water was dripping from the faucet, making it terribly difficult to sleep at night. She got out of the situation by picking up a bunch of toilet paper before going to bed and putting it under a dripping faucet. The door to the bathroom did not close (it is a bit dry). So, I did not change the number, because

after talking with the "local" vacationers, I realized that there was not much difference. I know that many were indignant at the lack of TVs in the rooms (they had nowhere to watch the Olympics). But the absence of it didn’t scare me, because I don’t need a TV. Moreover, at the reception near the bar there is a large screen on which something is being broadcast (the quality, of course, leaves much to be desired). Yes, there is free wi-fi at the reception. Take the password from the receptionist. The territory of the hotel is so-so - a swimming pool and something like a playground. We went to swim in the sea on the territory of the neighboring 5 * hotel Mirabella Iberostar. Walk for 5-7 minutes. There are sunbeds and umbrellas free of charge. can be safely used. The sea is very beautiful. The entrance is rocky. And the water is cold compared to the same Turkey.

Further, it takes about 25 minutes to walk from the hotel to Agios Nikolas. The town itself is very cute, full of cafes and shops. By the way, it is safe to walk the streets, even at night.

Meals: I didn't go to dinner.
Breakfast - scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs, cheeses, something like ham, coffee (I was pissed that it was sweet), tea, water, yuppie juices, tomatoes, olives, cucumbers. Something like this. In general, it's okay, you won't go hungry. Dinner is a separate song. Dinner starts at 7 pm, for latecomers (if, for example, you returned late from an excursion, either from a walk or from the beach, especially closer to 8 pm, then you will have little to eat). From food - morning leftover tomatoes, cucumbers. Macaroni, rice. Stuffed peppers, something like meat, vegetables. I must say right away that for me everything was oversalted. Of the fruits, watermelons, but they were gone closer to 8 pm. From sweet, some kind of nonsense like a chemical cream. I'm kind of scared to eat it. Drinks - yuppie juice, water, wine (not tasty) and beer. The bar did cocktails and something else. In general, I give the hotel a solid 3. If you are going to travel around the island, and only spend the night at the hotel, then feel free to choose this hotel. He is very suitable for this, because.
cheap and cheerful. If you need a "vegetable rest", then pass by. And finally, I want to say right away that this is my first negative review of the hotel. I never look for cons, but in this case, no matter how I tried to find the positives, the cons outweighed the pros.

Crete itself is a truly amazing place.
