In fact, the hotel is declared as 4 *, but I would put a solid 3 *. The only plus of the hotel is the most beautiful sandy beach and sea in all of Crete.
In general, I didn’t really like Crete, a year earlier I was on the island of Rhodes much more interesting.
The hotel obsalyutno save on everything, tk. the hotel is run by a family, the son works at the reception, the mother is in the kitchen, etc. The food is not tasty and monotonous, all alcohol is diluted, it is not possible to drink, you had to buy beer and wine in a store near the hotel. Potatoes are sour all the time, the meat is dry, they ate pasta and vegetables, from desserts watermelon, melon and mousses. The rooms are normal, cleaned well, almost all rooms with sea views.
It's very boring, there is no animation, there is nowhere to go, there are taverns nearby and they are also boring.

Tours are not interesting. We rented a car in Agilos Nikolos for 5 days. Toyota Yaris cost us 130 euros with full insurance. At the guide it cost 300 euros. We went on excursions ourselves, we liked only the palm paradise, the Palace of Knossos is generally full of city... In the capital of Heraklion, it’s also not interesting. The most interesting and most expensive excursion is Santorini.
The hotel is suitable for people of age, but not for young people, if you don’t want to die of boredom, then take hotels in the town of Malia, there are a lot of young people, bars, restaurants.
In general, I am not a picky tourist, but I really didn’t like it in Mistral, and I have a lot to compare with what there is. This is absolutely not a European level and service.
