The Minos Imperial hotel truly lives up to its 5 stars.
However, the hotel is cheating a little, or rather, some of the hotel staff at the reception. I'll tell you the story of the tourists we met at the hotel.
Upon arrival, they were placed in a building, which in all likelihood was built for the hotel staff, without windows, with separate beds, not quite clean tiles, broken sockets and dirty faucets.
At the reception they were told that this particular room was booked for them by a Ukrainian tour operator.
The voucher provided clearly stated STANDART ROOM DBL. On the website of the hotel, the rooms in which they were settled, there was not a trace (it was written that the standard rooms are the same and the photo confirmed this). The hotel positioned itself as a good five and such statements at least were not appropriate.

The guys would have put up with it or would have paid if they had not met us and listened to our arguments. After a convincing conversation at the reception, and later the girl's tears, the guy's mate, they were still settled in a standard room (without additional payments, of course). which corresponded to the declared photo of the hotel rooms and the tourist voucher.
This is not an isolated case when hotel managers try to cash in on tourists who came to rest for the first time or who do not speak English well, first putting them in a bad room so that the latter pay extra to be moved to a better room.
I would like to wish tourists to be sure when they choose a hotel, read reviews, pay a lot of money for their vacation, that they deserve exactly what they order, and hotels did not try to earn extra money on them, playing on the nerves of tourists.
Everyone who travels to the Minos Imperial Hotel, be sure that standard double rooms in a 5 star hotel DO NOT HAVE rooms without windows, not quite clean tiles, broken sockets and dirty faucets. If they try to accommodate you in such a room, write a complaint on the spot at the reception desk and call the directors, the main managers of the hotel to resolve this situation. Hotel administrators should not make money on tourists! Aware - means armed! .
And we, of course, really liked the hotel (in the voucher we had the same STANDART ROOM DBL mark and we lived in a normal room as in the hotel photo with a balcony and a sea view). Most rooms with sea view (80%). It is clear that there are no rooms without windows for tourists in a hotel of this category and with such a loud name MINOS IMPERIAL LUXURY BEACH RESORT & SPA !!!!!
Good luck to everyone! Defend your rights, money and your worthy rest!
