I wanted to share my impressions about a trip to one of the regions of the Peloponnese peninsula - Argolis. First, I would like to thank our tour guide Anna for her love for her work. How many did not travel, for the first time was delighted with the guide. We visited many places during the tour, had a very tasty lunch and got a lot of interesting information.

I'll start in order. Our first stop was Mycenae. I would never have thought that I could visit the place where King Agamemnon lived, and it was from Mycenae that he went to war against Troy. Now we watch a lot of films related to Greek history, read books, magazines. But when you read it or saw it on TV, to see it with your own eyes and feel the atomosphere of that time is an indescribable emotion. We walked around the city of Mycenae, climbed the stones, visited the tomb of the king. And of course I was struck by the Mycenae Museum, it is small, but quite interesting. My wife saw in this museum one of the very first women's cosmetic bags, combs and jewelry (there was no limit to delight).

Then we went to the city of Nafplio, where we walked with a guide, it turned out that Athens is not the only capital of Greece, and that after liberation from the Ottoman oppression, Nafplio became the capital of Greece. When we got to this town, we felt as if we were not in Greece. You walk along the narrow streets, as if you are walking in Venice, and when you see the sights, you again find yourself in Greece. We saw three fortresses: Burdzi, Palamidi and Akronafplio, from a different point of Nafplio you can see three fortresses at once, and they were built at different times.

Then we were taken to a tavern for lunch, to be honest, I love to eat, and of course I did not deny myself the opportunity to try national cuisine. Lunch is about the classic in Greece: Greek salad, tzatzaki, and some kind of hot - fish, meat, seafood, moussaka. Yes, and so, in this brand I tried the most delicious tzatzaki, and took a promise from my wife that she would learn how to make it.

After lunch we went to Epidaurus - the "ancient sanatorium" of Greece. We visited the Museum of Epidaurus, where there are ancient instruments of medicine, and gifts to the god Asclepius - the god of healing. Well, the most interesting place here is the theater, which is famous for its acoustics, and there is no analogue to this theater in the world. The Americans tried to repeat it, but they failed. The tour guide showed us some acoustic tricks, and then we climbed to the highest row and heard absolutely everything. We were lucky that there were few people in the theater, and you could hear the conversation of two people who were downstairs, although they probably did not want anyone to hear them. But such is the uniqueness of this theatre.

Then we went along the Ionian Gulf to the hotel, passed the Rio Antirio bridge, which connects the Peloponnese with the mainland. And we had dinner at the hotel. Of course we were tired, but it was a pleasant tired. So, I advise everyone to visit this tour, you will not regret it.
