Good afternoon!

I want to leave a review about the ANTIQUE GREECE tour.

I looked at this tour for a very long time, but still did not dare to go, it seemed to me very difficult and tiring. But the desire to get to Delphi and the Peloponnese still prevailed : )

The tour started with a sightseeing tour of Thessaloniki. It must be admitted that Thessaloniki is an incredible city that is unlike any other. Modern civilization and ancient antiquity coexist surprisingly harmoniously here. The heights of the old fortress offer very beautiful panoramic views of both the city itself and the Thermic Gulf of the Aegean Sea. After the tour, we were placed in the Gand hotel Palace 5 *. An excellent hotel located near the city center. The main symbol of the city, the White Tower, can be reached in just 20 minutes.

The next day we had to move to the city of Kastoria, which is famous for its furs. I had to visit Kastoria several times before and every time I never cease to say that this is one of the most beautiful and colorful cities in Greece! After a tour of the old city and a visit to several fur factories, we moved to the city of Kalambaka, which, according to Greek legends, is considered the birthplace of the centaurs. In Kalambaka, we immediately settled in the Antoniadis hotel 4 *. The hotel is located near the main street of this small town, so in the evening there is an opportunity to go out for a walk. In the morning, one of the most exciting excursions awaited us - an excursion to the legendary Meteor monasteries.

It's impossible to describe.... it must be seen!

After the excursion to Meteora, we had a rather long drive to one of the most mystical places - Delphi. Upon arrival, we immediately settled in the Kouros hotel 3 *. Quite small, but quite cozy and tidy hotel. The next day we had a very busy sightseeing day. We visited the museum in Delphi (in my opinion, this is one of the best museums in Greece) and the archaeological site of Delphi itself. The place is really very beautiful, unusual and mystical. It is in Delphi that the navel of the Earth is located and it was there that the Delphic oracles of the Pythia once broadcast.

After Delphi, we went to Athens, but we did not live in the city itself, but in one of the suburbs - Glyfada. We spent the night there for 2 nights. Best Western Fenix hotel 4*. The hotel is literally 5 minutes from the sea, and there is a stop nearby, from where you can take a high-speed tram to the center of Athens in just half an hour.

During these two days, while we lived in Glyfada, we visited a lot of excursions: a sightseeing tour of the city of Athens, climbed to the Parthenon of Athens, were in Mycenae, Epidaurus, saw the Corinth Canal. . .

And for everyone, the tour "Athens at Night" is also offered. At night, this city looks quite special, has some kind of exceptional charm. And, if you have the opportunity to go for an evening walk around Athens - do not even hesitate. Be sure to go!

After Athens, we had the longest journey during our trip - moving to Thessaloniki, where we again settled in the Gand hotel Palace 5 *. This, in fact, ended our journey. . .

Summing up, I want to say that this is undoubtedly an ideal excursion route. The week, of course, turned out to be very active, but also very eventful and interesting.

We were very pleased with the hotels according to the program. Some better, some worse. But all of them were ideally located in relation to the infrastructure, so there was no need to get bored in the room!

And, of course, special thanks to the guide Konstantin Dimitriadis. All week we were accompanied by one guide and he also led all the excursions. It is very comfortable! Much more convenient than those tours where each tour is led by a new guide.

Thank you for organizing such a wonderful program!
