Miracle Temple in Greece
In mountainous Arcadia, 300 kilometers from Athens, there is one of the most unique Orthodox churches in the world, dedicated to the locally venerated Saint Theodora. According to legend, before accepting martyrdom, the saint herself asked God to make her hair become trees, her blood, water, and her body a temple. So, a stream beats under the church, trees sprouted on the roof and in the walls of the centuries-old temple, their total number is 17, how old Saint Theodora was. Some of the trees reach a height of 20 meters and their trunks sprout right from the roof and walls of the fragile church, which is all riddled with roots. Science cannot explain why the temple did not collapse and so many learned ships came. The miracle lies in the fact that this temple is not a legend, but the truth that you can see with your own eyes and touch with your hands.
Another question is whether you want to believe your eyes. Thomas believed, but freedom is given by God.
“Thomas, one of the twelve, called the Twin, was not there with them when Jesus came. The other disciples said to him: We have seen the Lord. I will not put my hand in His side, I will not believe. After eight days His disciples were again in the house, and Thomas with them. Jesus came, when the doors were shut, and stood in the midst of them, and said, Peace be unto you! Then says to Thomas: Put your finger here and see my hands; put your hand and put it in my side; and do not be unbelieving, but believing.
Gospel of John
There is one very simple self-definition of the church according to the Apostle Paul, "The Church is the body of God, " and miracles in the church continue to this day.
