Hello! At the end of June 2019, my mother and I went to the Bomo Palmariva hotel. Read a lot of reviews about this hotel before staying. This is not the first time I have been in Greece, I have seen a lot, but my mother is the first time. Both my mother and I left here with good impressions and positive emotions. I'll tell you about everything in order.
Initially, in the application for early booking, we indicated that we needed a bungalow on the ground floor, since it was not very convenient for my mother to use the stairs. The room is good, with a shower room, everything is very comfortable, clean and tidy. The room was cleaned every day, the minibar (water, juice, beer) was replenished every day. The safe in the room is also free, once they could not open it, they called the reception, a master came to us and helped to open it.
The next morning, since we arrived in the evening, we had an informational meeting with the hotel guide. We would not even have learned about many things if it were not for our hotel guide. For example, the Ultra All Inclusive system does not include foreign-made alcoholic drinks, they are for an additional fee, but in fact we did not need them, after 11 pm everything is for an additional fee. fee, which was also not important for us. If this is so important to someone, in the town of Eretria, 3 km from the hotel, there is a Kava store, where you can buy cheap. At the entrance they paid a tourist tax, 3 euros per night per room, we got 24 euros for 8 nights.

At the reception, we take towels for a deposit of 10 euros, one towel. There you can also take an iron, tennis rackets, golf clubs. By the way, you can get to Eretria by taxi for 6 euros and by bus, the ticket costs 1.80 euros. But somehow we decided to go, we waited a very long time, the bus does not stick to the schedule very much. Taxi driver arrived in 5 minutes.
The hotel has very good animation, mini-disco at 21:00, evening program at 22:00, the animation program at the reception is updated every day, on Thursday there was a Greek evening with excellent national Greek cuisine. Every day some activities, stretching, yoga, water aerobics, children's animation are generally on top. Animator Mira, a very nice girl.
The sea was already warm when we arrived. We spent almost all the time at the sea, as there are a lot of children by the pool and in general a more active environment, not for mom. But I would be with children, I would spend almost all the time by the pool. For children, the most important thing is that an animator plays with them in the children's pool, parents are nearby. Just great!
The cuisine in the restaurant is very good, the menu is varied.
Breakfast: cereals, a large number of yogurts, dried fruits, sausages, cheeses, croutons, donuts with honey and nuts, there was even buckwheat! Everything is very tasty, just fine, the chef Yura cooks very well, he always finds out how things are going.
Lunch: soups are different every day, a wide variety of meats, side dishes, delicious french fries, watermelon, melon, fruits, peaches, apples, bananas, delicious fish, cheeses, salads.
Dinner: Again, a very varied menu, plus delicious desserts.
For lunch, they also served natural yogurt with honey. It's very tasty, just lick your fingers. The Greeks say that it is very useful!
From drinks, coffee, tea, soda, juices, in general, everything... cocktails at the bar.
We went on an excursion to Meteora, as it was my old dream, and I did not regret a bit that I spent a rest day on this trip. Beautiful, very powerful place. These rocks. These types. This power of religion is very much felt in the monastery itself. In the icon-painting workshop, they bought icons consecrated on Athos, yes, not cheap, but this was one of the goals of our trip.

We stopped at Thermopylae, where the battle of 300 Spartans took place. In general, it is informative, both for adults and for children.
