Rested in Greece in early June. We stopped at a small family hotel MALLAS near Thessaloniki in the resort town of Kallikratia. I liked everything - the room is spacious, cozy and clean, safe in the room (free of charge), TV with 2 Russian channels, refrigerator, air conditioning, hair dryer; The bathroom has been refurbished, although a bit cramped. The room was cleaned and towels changed daily and with high quality. The internet was good in the room, which is good news. There is a large balcony, and the territory itself is clean and well-groomed. I had breakfast and dinner included - delicious and homely, a large selection for breakfast, and for dinner the dishes were never repeated, and large portions. The hotel has a swimming pool and a very beautiful courtyard. The presence of a pool is important for me, because I am calm about the sea, I like to alternate it with a pool.
The pool is clean, not very big but not small either. There are tables and chairs in the garden, trees grow, so it is comfortable here in the heat.
Walk 50 meters to the sea, the beach is clean, the entrance is comfortable sandy with small pebbles in some places, the sea is very clean, the water is clear, fish were sometimes found. The sunbeds and umbrellas that stand on the beach all belong to the bars, and therefore they can be borrowed by paying for any drink (water, juice, coffee, etc. ). There are showers and toilets on the beach. There are many shops, bakeries with fresh pastries, cafes, supermarkets, and a church on the main street and on the embankment. There are even a couple of cafes with Russian cuisine (for example, Dolphin) and MOSCOW MARKET with Russian products (Russian-speaking seller). And so, sellers rarely speak Russian, but everyone understands sign language. On Tuesdays, locals come, and a good market of fruits and vegetables, clothing, shoes, sweets and meat and fish opens up. All fresh prices are very pleasant, lower than in supermarkets.

You can get to Thessaloniki by bus, but with a change: first by the Kallikratia-Thessaloniki bus (4 €), and then from the final stop on bus 45 (1 €) to the city center to Aristotle Square. The stop is five minutes from the hotel - along the main street to the right in front of the red brick church - the KTEL sign. It takes about 40 minutes to drive, but it is worth considering that buses tend to be delayed for 20-40 minutes : (
From excursions I visited the island of Santorini with an air flight - it's just an absolute delight! A place of wonderful beauty with red and black sand on the beaches, and other equally attractive objects to visit. I also went to Meteora and to Aridea and Edessa for thermal springs and the largest waterfall in Greece. I liked everything very much, the programs are rich and the guides are professionals.
The hotel hosts are friendly, very friendly and hospitable, the girl Mary works at the bar - she speaks Russian, she is very good, and the cocktails are delicious. The hotel itself is quiet, not noisy. The hotel is very good, I recommend it to everyone. It fully justifies its price. Many thanks to the whole Mallas family, Mary and the hotel staff, also thanks to a separate guide Elena! I'll be back for sure!
