Rested with my husband from 12 to 26 May 2013! By the way, a ticket here was even cheaper than in the neighboring Akratos hotel (which has only three stars), apparently because it is not yet the season. We were settled in the eighth building, it is clear that it was built recently, the rooms are very good. But the reception and the beach are far away to go. There is an underground passage to the beach. The beach is very spacious, always free. I think that in the season it will be here and you won’t have to be on duty on the beach all day so as not to lose a good place. But the sand is not very good, all in small pebbles and dry leaves - unpleasant. It was nice to have a volleyball court!
In general, with regard to sports, there are also pluses and minuses here. Tennis court - to put it mildly, in an abandoned state, it's easier to say that it does not exist! The gym is not large and is mainly equipped with weight machines, and there are some problems with ventilation - it’s very stuffy all the time, well, maybe this is due to the fact that there is a SPA and hammam baths nearby. But we met there with a wonderful fitness instructor. His name is Simon, he is from Bulgaria, but he knows Russian well. In general, he is responsible for the animation at the hotel, but his education is physical education. So, he showed us a number of wonderful exercises, and how to do them correctly so that we were satisfied. By the way, for those who want to keep fit during their holidays, I advise you to go hiking here. The territory of the hotel is very embossed and there are walking paths with steep descents and ascents, and between some buildings there is a staircase - 40-60 steps. My husband and I laid out a route for ourselves, along which we walked with pleasure for half an hour a day after dinner and the view is wonderful, and the air is intoxicating, and useful. ) So I even lost half a kilo in a week, although I didn’t limit myself in anything, especially in desserts, which are for dinner in a wide variety, it was hard to resist here.
As for food, breakfast is always monotonous. It was also upsetting that there were no porridges, although we were promised that they would appear soon, they never were. Therefore, queues for pancakes usually lined up at breakfast - you need to feed the children with something, except for cheese and sausage. And the dinners are amazing! Everything is delicious and even salads, although my husband and I usually do not risk eating salads abroad.

There are no Russian-speaking staff at the reception, so the girls help to solve all the questions - muzenidis, in yellow T-shirts, they speak English well. They also advised us to go on an excursion to Thessaloniki to the holy places, which left the most pleasant impressions. We especially liked the men's monastery of St. Anastasia the Solver, because. we are newlyweds. And the guide - Anna, a very nice woman, told us which icon is better to buy for the house - we followed her advice. Then they attached this icon to the casket where the head of St. Anastasia was kept, but today it is not there, because as it turned out, robbers visited the monastery a couple of years ago and robbed it. To this day, the monastery is in mourning and therefore is decorated with purple ribbons - a symbol of mourning. The monks and all believers hope that the head will be returned.
We also visited the grave of Elder Paisius, already in another monastery. In general, the tour is very rich, largely due to the professionalism of our guide, to whom, I repeat, we are very grateful for her attentiveness and responsiveness. At the end of the trip in general, everyone who rode the bus got very talking and became friends with each other, with one couple from Rostov, we even still communicate.
Then we visited Thessaloniki again, but by car. Rent here is quite expensive, from 40 euros (Nissan Micro) and gasoline in Greece is not cheap from 1.5 to 2 euros. But the roads here are watched with soul, not like in Russia.
In general, we have a lot of impressions from the trip and we basically liked the hotel. Of course, it is better to come here with the family to take a break from the bustle of the city. There is almost no animation, so those who want to have fun and dance here may find it boring, but for us - for a quiet holiday - just right! A piece of paradise, it’s not for nothing that it is located almost on the border with the holy land of Athos, where, by the way, my husband managed to visit (and women are not allowed there). During his absence, I spent a day at the SPA, Thai girls work here - I really liked how they give massage! Then I advised my husband. In general, have a rest with soul! We wish you all the same pleasant holiday!
