Hello! This year, together with my husband, we decided to change our usual Turkey for the historical and sunny Hellas. We chose a hotel for a long time, at first we wanted to go to the islands, but then we stopped our eyes on the mainland of Greece. The agency recommended us a calm and quiet hotel on the Athos peninsula. Our hotel was called "Aristoteles Holiday Resort & SPA", as we were told by the girls at the reception, it was named after the ancient Greek philosopher - Aristotle.
The road to the hotel was tiring but interesting. The charming nature pleased our eyes, and in 2.5 hours we arrived at the hotel. At the hotel we were met by our hotel guides who helped us with check-in, and at the reception we were treated to a delicious Greek drink and Turkish delight. A nice bonus was also provided by the hotel in the spa center - 15min free massage.
Our room was simple but quite spacious, and most importantly with a view of the sea. Which is pretty good already. It was very nice to wake up and look at the sea - it's just an invaluable feeling.

We arrived on the HB system - this is breakfast and dinner. No Turkey can compare with food in Greece! Greek cuisine is tradition. Delicious wines, divine feta cheese, lots of vegetables, fruits, fish and meat. All seasoned with olive oil and other spices. We were very pleased with the sea - clean well, just crystal water. There is a beach bar on the beach, which is very convenient, changing rooms, sun loungers and umbrellas for an additional fee (3 euros set), everything is on the beach. If you need a beach towel, you can take it at the reception.
To bask on the sea is, of course, wonderful, but it becomes boring. Having turned to our hotel guides, we picked up a few excursions. We went on a cruise to St. Athos - an amazing place. We looked at the monastery, walked in the port village of Ouranoupolis. We also went to Thessaloniki, the northern capital of Greece, as our guide told us. Very interesting program, plus 4 hours of free time. This is the same happiness for any girl who loves shopping. But all the most wonderful ends very quickly, as well as our vacation. Thank you very much for such wonderful days spent in sunny Greece. I think we will definitely be back next year.
