Hello! I want to share with you my trip to the beautiful country of Greece! It was not the first time in Greece and this year we decided to choose the third peninsula of Athos.
I chose a small, but as it turned out very cozy and beautiful Xenia hotel in the town of Ouranoupoli. By the way, the most convenient thing is that the town is located on the very border with the holy Mount Athos, which we just wanted to go to and that is why we decided to live closer to Athos.
We booked a bungalow at the hotel, it is located right on the sea, we got a complete buzz while living there. The cottage is clean and tidy. The food is delicious, a bit small selection, but everything is fresh. The territory is small, but we did not need much. We often went to Ouranoupoli and visited the Kritikom tavern a couple of times.

The food served there is simply beyond words! Seafood is just a fairy tale, they ordered fish and they brought fresh fish to us on a cart, and offered to choose, we were shocked, but I won’t even write about its taste, you have to try it! In general, he advises everyone who comes to Ouranoupoli to visit this tavern.
We had a group of 3 people on Athos and there was a guide with us all the time. I wanted to note him, as he is a true professional in his field, he told everything about Mount Athos, about the monasteries and generally answered all our questions. Although the tour is not cheap, but it was worth it, I did not regret the money and I will go again with pleasure.
On the same day, my wife went to the Belt of the Virgin and was also very pleased with both the guide and the tour in general. Undoubtedly, we will return more than once to Greece and advise everyone.
