Chania is a fairy tale within a fairy tale. this city on Crete is unlike any other local city. if I were Hemingway, then I would say about this city - here the holiday is always with me !!!
Venetian Crete is very beautiful.

however, parking in the old town is very difficult - we were by car. almost all parking spaces are only for residents of the area, other people's cars are simply evacuated. however, when, after a long search, they found a place to park, it no longer mattered. narrow streets lined with stone, pleasing to the eye and soul blue shutters and winding branches of ivy in contrast with bright houses. it cannot be put into words - it must be seen.

Hotel Belmondo, located in the heart of the old city, deserves a separate ode, a separate praise. the hotel is small, or rather tiny - just a few rooms, but what!!!!!!
each room is decorated in its own style: Venice, Paris, etc. (we lived in the Venice room).

it was simply stunning - furniture, curtains, accessories, all in the Venetian style. luxurious bed with a royal canopy (feel like a noble person!! ! )

breakfast in the room - simple, but...judge for yourself : ) : yogurt, jam, honey, fresh orange juice, tea or coffee, bread and cheese.
The staff is smiling and happy to help in any way they can!
a big minus - there is no internet, neither by cable nor wi-fi, and nearby networks are of little use, they are caught weakly, and only if they are "on their knees" and are constantly lost.

the view from the window (and from the balcony) - another page from the book of fairy tales - the old Venetian port is in full view, the lighthouse, the fort, boats, the bustle of tourists on the embankment, in a word, amazing and unforgettable !!! !
