As it was with us, we rested as a family, also with a small child 2.9 years old, the food was fresh everywhere, both in the children's cafe and in adult restaurants. The variety in the children's cafe is not like in "all inclusive" Turkey - no one promised , but different types of pasta with sauces, fruits, grilled and boiled vegetables, grilled meat, salads, ice cream, desserts, pizza (for older ones) were always present in a decent form. potatoes puree was only strange - as if "adjustable".
in "adult" restaurants for breakfast - as in all other hotels, the assortment is the same for the entire period of rest - eggs, cheeses, pastries, vegetables, fruits, pancakes, jams, yogurts, etc. drinks (juices - similar to packaged ). for dinner, everything is much more diverse, but not enough seafood . . thematic evenings - Greek and lobster party liked the average, they are with a surcharge.

the hotel lobby was very impressive, beautifully decorated with marble (in the bathroom and the floor in the room, too, by the way)
As a minus, we considered the greatly inflated prices for paid drinks at dinner (4 times higher than in local supermarkets, and this is for Local alcohol! )
The indisputable plus of the hotel is the beach, wide, sandy. the sea was really often restless, so many vacationers with small children did not particularly swim during the wave period, we took the child in our arms or jumped in shallow water over the waves. There is an option - pools, there are 3 of them, and for children too, 1 with slides.
The rooms have seen better, but in general - acceptable, for 4, clean.
to the nearest settlement - the village of Georgopoli - 15 minutes on foot along the seashore. But on the road, you don’t walk (if you decide with a stroller) - the road is narrow and it takes longer to go . .
If you rent a car, you can go to Rethymnon, Chania, on the lake. Kournas is the unity of freshwater in Crete, clean (but we didn’t see the turtles promised there, like many), we didn’t go further.
Insects and other living creatures did not annoy - cicadas or their "relatives" crackled, but you get used to it, and lizards - this was entertainment for the child - there they are pink, translucent and not at all "vile", basking near the night lights on the wall.
Animation is normal - acrobats, tenors, Greek dances, tricks and so on.
Children's mini discos - the same dances and music are repeated daily, but the children like it, they are funny. They didn’t go to the miniclub. The children like the evening train.
In general, not bad, but we expected more for such a price and from a Deluxe, 5 * hotel.
