We rested in July 2018 with a family with adult children (10 and 18 years old). We liked the rest very much. We drove from Pegasus. We arrived at 4.30 in Heraklion, it takes 3 hours to get to the hotel (but it's worth it). We arrived at the hotel at 8.00. We filled out a questionnaire, paid a resort fee of 3 euros per day, we were put on bracelets and sent to have breakfast. Check-in after 12.00, but we were settled earlier, right after breakfast. At the reception, only one girl speaks Russian, the rest know only a couple of words. Therefore, it is desirable to know at least the school curriculum, but you can also explain your request in your hands - they try to understand. A guide from your company can also help (located next to the reception). Wi fi catches almost the entire territory of the hotel is excellent, but in the rooms it is worse. We were escorted to our room.

We had 317. The room is next to the restaurant and not far from the reception. Room on the 2nd floor, consists of 2 rooms, a bathroom and a balcony overlooking the sea and mountains. The room has furniture (not falling apart, maintained) - a 2-bed and two bedside tables, a table and a huge mirror, a flat and large TV, air conditioning in one room. In the second room (checkpoint) - 2 single beds and 2 bedside tables, 3 doors wardrobe. But unfortunately, air conditioning and TV is only in one of the rooms. And the cold air from the air conditioner does not reach the back room. Room cleaning daily. Bed linen was changed once a week, towels every other day. The bathroom is equipped with a hairdryer, liquid hand soap, hair and body soap. Bathroom and toilet are shared (large). There are few sockets in the room, so take tees. Our sockets are Russian.

Territory.
The hotel area is large, green, many plantings (pomegranates, grapes, figs, spruces, cypresses, flowers and of course olives). 2 - a pool (1 - near the restaurant, the 2nd right next to the sea). Bar near the 2nd pool. On site there is an "A LA carta" restaurant, where you can dine once for free (but you need to register at the reception in advance) and a restaurant with a buffet. There is also a spa area, in which 30 minutes of massage costs 29 euros, but. But for new settlers, 15 minutes are free for each adult (as for massage, I recommend signing up immediately upon arrival at the spa area, otherwise your massage will turn into not nostalgia and relaxation, but hard labor, because massage on a tanned back is a horror Also at the reception you can pay a deposit for a beach towel of 5 euros - 1 piece (when you return the towel, your money will be returned to you), you will be given a card and in the spa area you will receive beach towels, which you can safely change every 3 days At the reception you can borrow an iron on deposit (we had our own), a fumigator (we didn’t need it), an extension cord (I think it’s not needed at all). The hotel has a court for playing tennis. To the beach past the pool is 50 meters.
Beach.
The beach is small pebbles, but very hot in the sun, wooden paths lie almost until sunset. Sun loungers and deck chairs are all free. The bottom of the sea is large pebbles, and in some places there are stones, so take coral slippers (water shoes) with you. There are almost always waves on the sea, many people like to ride the waves. But if you don’t like waves and want to swim calmly, you can walk along the beach to the left and boldly go swimming, there are smaller waves and a better bottom. There are usually enough sunbeds, but many people leave towels on them in the morning and go about their business, so it may not be enough. But do not be discouraged, you can lie down on a sunbed by the pool (it is located next to the sea) and relax.
Nutrition.

The food is excellent. Nobody will be left hungry. always ice cream, fresh vegetables and fruits, Greek food daily. For dinner, roasted pig, duck, turkey. For breakfast - pancakes, pancakes, scrambled eggs, cereals. And this is not all that you can taste in a restaurant. Wine, beer, juices. Fish, pork, chicken. Potatoes, pasta, spaghetti, rice, casserole and much more.
Leisure.
Outside the hotel, on the left, there is a shop where you can buy everything you need, but if time and desire allow, go a little further to the right (200 m) and run into a shop. I thought it was cheaper and there was more choice. For excursions: because Since the hotel is far from civilization, excursions are delayed from 8 hours to a day. We went to Santorini. What can I say: we left at 4 am and returned at 22.00. We spent more time on the road than we saw the sights. Black sand is, of course, wonderful, but not with a crowd of people and not in 1 hour. Therefore, we decided to rent a car and drive around about. Crete themselves. Pegasus has excellent cars, but they are expensive. Across the road from the hotel there is the Blue sky hotel, also of the Dessole group of hotels, where Drive Now provides car rental services https://www. drivenow. gr/gr (you will see a large sign near the hotel). At the reception of this hotel you can find out all the information on rent, prices, and if you have questions, they will connect by phone with a representative of this company. You will be provided with a list of places that you can visit along with the car. So we visited the Cave of Zeus (68 euros per person), on the Palm Beach (75 euros per person), in the monastery, on the Ierapetra embankment at sunset, in the souvenir shops of the city center and on the way we dropped into different beaches. We traveled on the navigator in the phone maps. me is an excellent navigator and helped a lot.
During the day and in the evening, animators will be engaged in your leisure time. In the evenings, the hotel has a disco for children, later for adults there is a disco, competitions. You won't be bored, but it's a pity one in English, those who don't know the language will not be interested. Although you can just lie down near the sea and enjoy the sunset and the wind from the sea, sit at the pool bar with the company.

I advise this hotel to all families with children, but young people will probably be bored here.
