We rested with my husband in Greece for the first time! We ourselves are from Ukraine. Before that we were twice in Egypt. The country is interesting, there is something to see, the locals are friendly, there are few people on the streets, cafes where you can have a bite to eat on every corner, in them you can also drink the local Metaxa perfectly in the evening, well, in general, rest for every taste, as you wish. About the hotel - WONDERFUL!!!! ! Not all Egyptian 5 * can be compared with this hotel, all the same Europe. I would recommend it to anyone who is going to Crete, it fully justifies its cost, the food is good, European, there are a lot of sweets, especially curd cakes....The room was clean, every day when we came from breakfast, our room was already shining clean, even without a tip (as it was in Egypt). Those. the staff is not heard or seen, they clearly do their job. The pool is clean, the beach by the sea is good, all the sunbeds and umbrellas on site are free. We rented a car several times, they are all small-capacity, comfortable, because. the cost of gasoline exceeds the price in Ukraine by 2 times. Were in the water park, did not like it, a lot of people, you move down the mountain for 10 seconds, and you stand in line for 5-10 minutes. For those who are going to go on vacation, I recommend taking a car and just riding around the cities of the island, it’s very interesting how the locals live, real Greeks, we drove into the mountains in a real Greek village, all the people waved to us when we drove through, they just greeted us, a trifle, but nice. Souvenirs - olive soap, algae washcloths, olive oil, Greek vodka and, of course, a lot of all sorts of knick-knacks, but already Chinese, which you don’t want to buy : ) The hotel is GOOD! No complaints
