The hotel is calm, respectable, well-groomed, with excellent cuisine, dinners were especially pleasing. The attitude of the staff is friendly, however, in Crete friendliness prevails. Everyone can find both disadvantages and advantages, but in general - everything is fine. A decent jewelry store where you can pick up some jewelry, and it has a friendly owner named Vasilios... I picked up a blue opal in silver... Many Germans, elderly and with children, many Russians, quite a lot of children, but the cries of the children are not heard, everything is decorous, calm. Maybe because we lived in the Villa Aphrodite, and not in the main building... For some reason, I read in other reviews that this villa is called "barracks for Russians. " I don't know, maybe some people have spacious rooms, with marble floors and loggias, and are associated with barracks... I won't argue with them. Yes, lush is there with a curtain, not in a plastic booth. Considering it's huge
the downside is yes, but we didn’t get hung up on this at all. We liked the peace and quiet. We weren’t pleased with the lack of free internet. It doesn't exist at all. You have to pay 5-10 euros
for 90-200 min. This is perhaps the only drawback of the hotel.

Weather. It was so diverse that we got the impression that Crete decided to show us everything he had in stock. There was a storm, there was a dry storm with sand, there were gorgeous sunny days, there were thunderstorms, it was hot, it was cool... And that's all - in 9 days! The sea is clean, not cold (for me) - 21 degrees. Those who come from the Baltic States will understand me.
Very salty. The beach is excellent. For Crete - chic.
Tour operator - Millennium. The service is unobtrusive, the guides have been working for many years, they don’t bother with offers. If you want - take it, if you don't want - don't take excursions. We rented a brand new Volkswagen Polo from the parking lot next to the hotel. Immediately for 9 days, and never regretted it. Themselves masters, traveled the entire island far and wide. We got a lot of pleasure and adrenaline by riding the serpentine, though for those who are going to go to the extreme west to Sfigna, it’s good advice to think about it. The serpentine there is the most difficult, and Crete will not joke with you on it. If you go - know - there is no turning back. You can only go forward. We advise you to go to Sisi - a fishing village, only 30 min. from hotel. We liked everything there, including fish restaurants. And about everything else - read on the internet and choose whatever you like.
Yes, I want to warn you that there are terrible queues at Heraklion airport, both for entry and return... Prepare for this in advance and approach it philosophically. Everything ends sometime. . .
In general, we are satisfied with the rest.
