This 4 * hotel is located in the town of Hersonissos. Accommodation - without children. Mostly Europeans rest, which can not be a plus; -) The hotel has 2 sets of rooms, one across a small side road. Most Russians and Ukrainians live there. At least, it seemed so to us, because all our neighbors were from Russia. But here the numbers are older. The appearance of air conditioning or furniture - morally tired. However, everything works perfectly. Built in the style of the Cretan village. The same should not be taken into account for shabby doors with a large latch inside. What made me happy are the two simple DBL rooms. All rooms in the living room or rather "kitchen" have another bed, table, kettle and TV, by the way, a large plasma, which was important for a man during the football emergency. Wi-Fi everywhere! The password must be requested at the reception. The hotel has 2 outdoor pools and one indoors.
Tennis - once a week for free on record at the reception, but asked to play again - we did not mind. Water near the bottles is not given. But we were bottling from the cooler - the bartender said: "I'm smiling and pretending not to see anything. " From the staff, I can say that all are friendly and Greek - this applies to waiters, cleaners, and managers who just did their job well. Regarding the beach. It is very small - 100 meters long. I think because of this all sunbeds and umbrellas throughout the territory are free. The bottom is rocky, so buy coral slippers! ! ! ! ! It is better to do it right away, because in Kyiv they are more expensive, and here they cost 6 euros. The entrance is inconvenient, because there are stones everywhere, but what a beauty ...So if you are careful, everything will be fine. I stepped on a sea urchin and had problems with it. And it is not true that they are found only on deserted beaches.
As for entertainment - every night we were waiting for either live music, or a Cretan folklore evening with dances, or a show from a Polish troupe ...then a game like guess the melody. And, there were still aqua aerobics, water polo. But there are many other entertainments in Crete - all the cities are very beautiful, especially Chania. We went on a tour to the Minos Palace in Knossos. We ordered it in the town itself, because our guide from Pegasus forgot about us completely, did not come to the meeting and accordingly did not offer excursions. It turned out to be quite cheap - 29 euros per person, we were taken to Heraklion and the Peso area, where wine and olive oil are made. Don't buy anything there, because at Duty-Free these products are twice as cheap! Cheaper even in supermarkets, of which there are many. I will not write much about food. The cuisine is European, everything was high quality, except for their wine. There was daily seafood, fish, lamb, all kinds of vegetables and fruits, sweet - just great. There can be absolutely no remarks on food.

They are trying especially hard in this regard. Order (it's also free) a la carte restaurant, sign up at the restaurant near the romantic bar. You can order one of the groups of dishes for free - one salad, one main starva, etc. It's worth it! We were at a party of Italian cuisine and it was a very tasty and romantic evening. But, of course, in order to enjoy all the benefits of the hotel you will need at least a basic knowledge of English.
