Were in this hotel from 16 to 22 August. The hotel is not bad, not big only 25 rooms designed for a relaxing holiday. There are no discos. The hosts are friendly people Dimitirios and Renata. They understand only English, they don’t know Russian, but this does not interfere. The sea is three steps away through a path five meters wide. There is no beach as such, a narrow strip. The beach belongs to the quince cafe, so to take a sunbed and an awning, you either pay 3 euros from your nose or order something in a cafe, you can even just water, it's cheaper. The hotel guide Alena, a complete layman, offers excursions at bargain prices, go to Heraklion there, right at the bus station, the travel agency is three times cheaper. The hotel is cleaned every three days, towels are also changed. The hotel is not the newest but in general it is not bad. Air conditioning 3 euros per day safe 10 euros per stay. In general, all the same products are expensive. And don’t go to the vaunted Ambrosia, I don’t argue the service is not bad, but the abundance of people in this cafe is annoying and the hubbub and the fact that they do not have time to serve everyone. Go to another place where the service is not worse but there are fewer people and they also bring fruit salad and brandy at the end of dinner. I don't remember the name, but it is located a little further than Ambrosia next to the store, we liked it there more and a little cheaper and larger portions. For 30 euros, it's just great for three to eat and try their pita for 3 euros alone for two. In general, the rest is calm and not quite cheap. You can go to Athens on your own by ferry for 8 hours. costs 56 euros round trip for seating.
