Just returned from Crete. The island is awesome, I love this paradise island very much. I really liked Hersonissos. Liked the beach at Star Beach Water Park. But this hotel ruined the experience. The hotel is terrible!! ! Just a nightmare!! ! There is no soundproofing at all. The rumble of doors, conversations in the next room - you can hear everything. Drunk Russian campaigners yelling all night! ! All night you escape from stinging mosquitoes !! ! There are clouds of them. And you will be saved only by a burning candle - (2.5 euros). There is always a puddle of water in the bathroom after taking a shower! Disgusting removal! In the bathroom, after cleaning, there were hairs on the floor, so they remained until the end of my stay! Even leaving a tip doesn't help. Yes, the tour to this hotel was cheap. After reading only good reviews on the Internet (there were no bad ones at all), I decided to go to this hotel. Tempted by proximity to Hersonissos. I don't know who writes good reviews about this hotel! Yes, for such money I did not expect something chic, but. . . The hotel was struck by its wretchedness and poverty! The lock in the door of the room opens only the third time, and then you need to adapt! The lighting in the room is so dim that you can't even read anything. Yes, the owners are smiling - brother and sister! They only speak English! Although there were many Russians in the hotel, the owners pretended not to understand Russian. I do not advise young girls to go to this hotel alone. Since I was alone, the owner of the hotel did not let me through. It's horrible! Disgusting!! ! I was waiting for this holiday all year and it was spoiled by the impression of staying in this hotel. I do not advise anyone to go to this hotel! For myself, I concluded that the quality of a hotel holiday is also not very important! It is better to take a hotel with at least 4 stars, and not be tempted by cheapness, which, in fact, costs more - namely, spoiled rest and mood. But despite all of the above, I adore Crete, its good-natured people, awesome nature, clear sea, sun and the joy that this island gives. I strongly advise you to visit the water park, the sensations are awesome, the adrenaline is going through the roof. I will definitely come to Crete again, but I will approach the choice of a hotel more carefully!! !
