Rested with her husband at the Yeri Beach Hotel in Crete. We were in Greece for the first time, so the impressions remained for a year ahead. We liked the hotel, so I decided to write a review, maybe someone else decides to save money. In order not to get into a mess, I always recommend reading the reviews. We have been traveling for 10 years already, the Internet has never let us down, although we started reading reviews only 5 years ago. So we were just lucky with the tour operators who organized the rest. I already said that I liked the rest, but I will clarify about the hotel, rooms, etc. I think this will be of interest to many. It takes about an hour to get to the hotel. We had a big bus, so the road seemed a bit boring, because many tourists were taken to hotels along the way. But I really liked nature. Greece is indeed a very beautiful country. And these were only the first impressions, then we traveled around Crete and the delight intensified. In our hotel, strangely enough, the territory impressed me the most. There are 2 swimming pools with sea water. Not the sea, of course, but, in general, given that the beach is small, you could sometimes swim and sunbathe there. The air is still the same. Our room was a standard double. Very large for two people. It seems to be intended for a much larger number of people. I can't say anything bad about the food. They fed deliciously. The choice was not bad for a 4 *. But we often skipped dinners. It is very close to Hersonissos, so we ate there in taverns. Indeed, the town is very small by our standards, but it seems to me that there is more entertainment than in any metropolis. The locals were especially surprised. They are like snails after the rain, in the evening they all run to cafes, bars, taverns. Apparently, that's the way it is here. The atmosphere is straight Greek, to say the least. Yes, I'll clarify about the safe. He is paid. So, if you are carrying something really very valuable with you, keep this in mind. But we, for example, always carried documents with us. And so, not a single case of theft was heard even from regular guests.
