We visited the hotel "Eri Beach & Village Hotel 4 *" in the middle of September 2017:2 adults + child 6 years old.
Operator Coral Travel (Ufa).
What we liked:
1) Location
1.1. ) the presence of sandy beaches in the immediate vicinity, the presence of a rocky bottom in the hotel itself (snorkeling pleasantly diversifies daily swims);
1.2. ) a lively village with a beautiful promenade, coffee houses, bakeries, expensive and inexpensive restaurants, bike / scooter / car rental - immediately upon leaving the hotel;
1.3) proximity to the airport (20-30 minutes).
2) Sea:
2.1. ) a small bay, to which large waves do not reach (those who like to fight against the elements can swim away - 100 meters - and meet her there in all its glory on windy days;
2.2. ) different types of bottom (bottom depth and vegetation) provide an amazing variety of water colors: a balm for the heart of visuals;
2.3. ) the water temperature in September is pleasant for both evening and early morning swims;

2.4. ) a special "aviary" was organized for children: part of the sea is separated by large pieces of rocks, on which waves break, and the bottom is covered with sand, the depth is shallow: little water lovers splash in this natural pool with pleasure.

3) Food, not counting meat:
3.1. ) daily rich selection of vegetables, local fresh cheese (similar to cheese), olives, yogurt, tomatoes;
3.2. ) children at dinner can be neutralized with ice cream or watermelon;
3.3. ) If you are not a fan of spinach, Greek cuisine can radically change your attitude towards this amazing product.
What was unexpected, unpleasant and is a direct disregard for the needs of the guests on the part of the hotel management:
1. Dirty number:
1.1. ) pieces of chewing gum on the floor during check-in, dead insects smeared on the ceiling, very old plumbing;
1.2. ) torn sheets;
1.3. ) air conditioners do not undergo preventive cleaning;
1.4. ) mold in the bathroom.
2. The presence of sources of stink on the territory of the hotel:
2.1. ) next to one of the largest residential buildings there is a "garbage dump": a closed small shed, into which, starting from 12:00 on the 1st day and until 11:00 on the next day, food leftovers from the entire hotel are brought - somewhere at 11:30 a garbage truck comes (1 time per day) and takes away the waste, which by the evening of the same day accumulates again and in a hot climate there is a strong stench that is available to guests coming out onto the balconies on the first floors;
2.2. ) in the restaurant, the cleaning of dirty dishes and leftover food from the tables of guests is organized using carts where waiters collect dishes and cutlery, and when the cart is full, everything is taken to the sink: plastic carts with rubber mats on them, unlike metal counterparts (which commonly used in kitchens) have absorbed the odor over their lifetime, and when the waiter with this cart appears next to you during lunch to clean the next table, you can smell the slop pail.
3. The impossibility of changing the number:

3.1. if upon check-in you found out that the air conditioner is dirty in the room, that your balcony is located directly above the hotel "garbage dump", that there is a noisy disco hotel outside the windows, that there are problems with the drain in the bathroom, then you can change the room only after a few days, having heard the following answer from the reception staff: “it’s good that you were settled at all: today some of our guests left for another hotel, because there are no places”, “we will send a master to you, and he will look at what the problem is, if the problem if you can’t solve it, we will put you in the queue to change the number”, “we are putting you in the queue to change the number, but the queue is long, you will have to wait”, “unfortunately, the master has already left today, tomorrow we will try to solve your problem, and only after that, we can queue up to change the number. "
3.2. if you decide to go all the way, then instead of a room above a garbage dump on the 2nd floor, most likely you will get a room with a problematic sewer drain on the 1st floor - this is called a room change.
4. A restaurant not designed for the number of guests in the hotel:
4.1. food queues;
4.2. a queue to get a table if you come to the middle of dinner;
4.3. line for clean plates, which sometimes ends, i. e. sometimes there are no plates. at all. as well as appliances;
4.4. guests in wet bathing suits with thinly covered sex differences who wander past you when you eat (they were in a hurry to run away from the beach in order to have time to grab a table at dinner);
4.5. You won’t be able to eat the glorious Greek grapes in a restaurant, they are taken apart too quickly.
5. The declared animation for children is not organized:
5.1. during the day there was no animation at all (let me remind you, we rested in September, and there were a lot of guests with small children at that time);
5.2. in the evening, the guys who were supposed to hold the baby disco chatted with the bartender of the paid bar;
5.3. the central children's playground on site is in a deplorable state and needs to be repaired for a long time.
Summary:
I understand that when going to a budget hotel you don't expect much, but there is a certain basic minimum that you cannot fall below (cleanliness, first of all). Eri Beach & Village Hotel does not consider it shameful to violate this basic minimum. In response to your questions, you will most likely hear: "It's good that you were settled at all. "
