It all started with the fact that when we arrived at the hotel, and filled out the form at the reception, we were asked to wait. Alert. arranged and settled the whole group. We are completely ignored. I had to remind myself. They said sorry. Your number is busy. We showed vouchers, showed the tour operator's reservation, called our guide, who met us at the airport and told us to contact us with any questions - nothing helped. It is night on the street, we demand to settle us somewhere, we are in trouble. All do not care.
It's also good that my husband is fluent in English. We went to the manager, he promised to go to the reception desk to sort it out, but he never came. Subsequently, his office was closed. It was horror. In the end, we achieved what we were told - okay (a favor was done), we will put you in another hotel, this is also our hotel. Very close to this. He is also an ERI Hotel. Well, what were we to do? We got into the provided minibus and were taken. This "nearby" turned out to be the devil where on the mountain !!! ! Where the sea and the beach and did not smell. When I saw this, I flatly refused to move into the room here. We bought a ticket to a hotel on the beach, not on the mountain. But then the same story began as in the hotel below. After our complaints, they simply stopped communicating with us. A man from Russia approached, also on vacation. Told his story. He and his family came to this hotel (namely on the mountain), but in a two-room suite, and for five days they have been forced to live in an ordinary, one-room apartment. Nothing can be achieved. He advised us not to stay in this hotel, otherwise we will stay here for the whole holiday, and not just one night. With difficulty, with shouts and scandal, we demanded to be taken back. We waited half an hour for a minibus. And this is all at night. Returning to the hotel on the beach, we saw that there was another shift at the reception. But the explanation with new people did not lead to anything. They called the guide all night, demanded to contact our tour operator and warn that we were flying home, to Riga, on any next flight. Since the direct flight is only in a week, we will fly by Lufthansa, via Frankfurt, tickets are not cheap there, but they will reimburse us for all expenses through the court.
The guide advised to calm down, spend the night where they offer, and in the morning she will help resolve all issues. I did not want to leave our hotel anywhere, and said that I would sit here at the reception desk until the morning. But my husband insisted that it's better to sleep somewhere. And we were taken up again. We were put into a "room". I wish I had never seen this number in my life! It's just a nightmare. A shabby two-door wardrobe from Khrushchev's time, a rocked bed with thick linen. No towels, no soap. "Refrigerator" 40 cm high with a falling off door. A plywood door to the next room, through which you can hear the unimaginable sounds of booze and a wild orgy of some Dutch people. I sobbed all night. She didn’t close her eyes. At dawn, we again demanded that we be taken to our hotel. We decided that someone would start moving out, and they would finally give us a room. We've arrived. We were told to wait until 9 am. Luckily, they gave me a voucher for breakfast. "Restaurant" turned out to be most similar to the Soviet canteen. a huge hall, a lot of people, heat, closeness. Staff doesn't clean tables on time. A bunch of empty tables littered with dirty dishes. An extremely unpleasant sight. For me - fewer dishes are better (most of which are still useless), but clean, tidy, comfortable. Here is the complete opposite. In the morning, our daughter from Riga called us, said that she had pressed our tour operator, they apologize and will now deal with the hotel. The guide called, said the same thing, so they didn’t worry. Around 9-10 o'clock we were finally given the keys to the room. Hooray! Victory! (so it seemed). But it was not there. The room turned out to be a tiny closet. We then went outside and looked at the balconies - our balcony, and therefore the room was exactly 2 times smaller than the standard ones. This is some kind of horror. The room was not much better than the one in the top hotel. There is no bath, only a shower, and without a shower cabin, the water simply flows into a hole on the floor, next to the toilet. The crampedness in the bathroom, the crampedness in the room is such that only one bedside table fit near the bed !! ! The second one didn't fit. But at least the air conditioner worked and we gave up. Yes, we gave up. We decided that our nerves could not stand the fight with this "resort", and God bless him, where to sleep, the main thing - here it is, the sea. So we lived for 2 weeks in this probably some kind of service closet. When in the afternoon we met with our whole group with a guide, it turned out that we were not the only ones with problems. But what the rest have is such a trifle compared to us. Just think, instead of a family room of 2 rooms, four adults were simply settled in a 3-bed room and put a cot. So we concluded - there are always problems with resettlement in this hotel. Surely they take more reservations than they can accommodate, in the hope that someone will not come, and then get out as best they can. And only a matter of chance, next time you or someone else will not be lucky.
