There are no complaints about the hotel accommodation. The Russian-speaking manager told and showed everything. We were put on bracelets, although it was 8 am, and offered to wait for check-in in comfortable conditions. At 12.30 we were already in the room.
The number is a lottery, according to what principle old or new rooms are distributed remains a mystery. We got a shabby room at the very top. But I'm glad that the number can be changed if there are free ones. But I think that a 5-star hotel should not have shabby rooms! In the room there is an old, barely blowing hair dryer, except for soap, do not expect any jars.
Housekeeping - fear! A spider lived with us for almost the entire rest, and in the bathroom in a conspicuous place. After cleaning, it seemed to get even dirtier. Mirrors, dust and a bath are apparently not included in the concept of cleaning. But towels and bedding were changed properly.
Meals: I was surprised how dramatically it changed on one of the days we were spoiled with dor blue cheese, champagne, red fish, etc. And the next day, the assortment of food became scarce, less varied than usual.
Internet: paid 7 days - 12 euros. I caught it well, even watched movies online, although we were far from the reception.
Animation: very weak, although they say so in all hotels in Greece. Few people went there.
Sea: beautiful, warm, clean sea, there is plenty of space on the beach, everyone has sunbeds and umbrellas. The entrance to the water is a bit rocky but that wasn't a problem. (by the way, the sea is warmer on this side of Crete than on the others)
