We went with my mother this year in early August to rest in Crete. We wanted a quiet and peaceful hotel, so we chose the Hotel Heronissos. We got to the hotel quickly, in about 40 minutes. It is located near the sea, about 5 minutes. Sandy beach, clean, equipped, sunbeds and umbrellas for an additional fee, water sports are also available. In the resort itself there are many shops, clubs, taverns, restaurants and cafes, the nightlife is in full swing here, a lot of young people come here. But the hotel itself is quite quiet, which is what we wanted.
If you walk about 7 minutes, you can go to the central road of Kherson.
We arrived, we were met by our hotel guide, Elizabeth. We decided to immediately hold an information meeting, because the check-in to the room was after 1.5 hours, we had to wait a bit. I have long wanted to visit the island of Santorini, so I immediately decided to buy an excursion there. Mom, on the other hand, wanted to go on an excursion to unknown Crete, the trip turned out to be very interesting. From what he saw received a lot of emotions and vivid impressions.

Returning to the hotel. I want to note the delicious food, they cook there very well and satisfyingly, a good selection of main dishes, fresh vegetables and fruits. Breakfast is a little monotonous, but the choice of dishes is not bad, a hearty breakfast is provided.
As for the room, the room was quite spacious and bright. The interior is simple, the furniture is in good condition, a double bed, air conditioning is free, TV (there is a Russian channel), free internet, a hairdryer, a refrigerator, a safe for an additional fee (did not use).
The territory of the hotel itself is small, there is a swimming pool and an area with sun loungers, a snack bar is open. The front desk staff are friendly, attentive and always ready to help.
I advise you to relax on the island of Crete at least once, it is beautiful, and as a good budget option - the Heronissos hotel.
