The main condition for choosing a hotel in Crete was for us the beach and a quiet, peaceful environment. According to these criteria, High Beach was chosen. The beach here is really perfect: sandy. wide, right there is the Sea Side beach bar, pleasant music, drinks, snacks, ice cream, there is even a hammock. Actually on the beach and spent most of the time, even in the restaurant for lunch you could not go, the bar was great to have lunch. There is another bar by the pool with a jacuzzi, it is, of course, smaller and without music. The room is clean, with new furniture, flat-screen TV, bathrobes and slippers, hairdryer, refrigerator. Every day they brought water and cleaned it. I also liked the territory of the hotel, small, very beautiful because of the abundance of roses, they are everywhere here. The hotel is quiet, calm, there is no animation, but that's exactly what we wanted. There are two playgrounds, a mini-club is open from 10 am to 4 pm, it is in great demand among children and parents. From excursions we went to the Palace of Knossos, bought at a travel agency in Malia, it was interesting and informative.
