We chose a hotel for a very long time, each hotel had some unpleasant nuance. As a result, we settled on the Anthoussa hotel and made the right choice, a good hotel! Pluses of the hotel: located on the seashore, without any promenade roads in front of the sea (which is often found in hotels on the first line); excellent food and good drinks (cannot be compared with many 5* hotels in Turkey and Egypt); infrastructure; service. And there are also some drawbacks. The biggest minus is the room that we bought overlooking the garden, it was a nightmare, the garden was not visible from the room, but the road can be seen and heard! Until they changed it with a surcharge to a room with a sea view, it was not possible to live there, and even more so to sleep. Along the road there are a lot of taverns, bars and shops. People did not leave this street all day and night. The noise of cars was heard around the clock, as well as the noise from people who abused alcoholic beverages. So pay attention to this moment. The hotel is most suitable for couples with children and people of retirement age, and young people will be bored. And so everything was fine, I liked the hotel, I really liked the island of Crete.
