We chose a hotel in Crete for a long time, because went on a honeymoon trip. Chosen! On the website of the hotel, the photos are simply a miracle, a real paradise. The tour company also praised the hotel. We paid crazy money for a standard room (bungalow) and flew....
Arrived... The hotel is on the road (highway), there is nothing around, no streets, no cafes, no shops. Standard bungalows are just miserable, God forbid the bedroom is 9 m2. The plumbing is old, there are no curtains in the shower and small ants crawl everywhere. The service also does not reach 4 stars - a broken chair (we did not break it) was replaced only when we dragged it to the reception ourselves.
The sea is not very clean, in algae, which the staff prefers not to clean. Airplanes fly overhead every minute, because. the airport is 12 km from the hotel.
A significant plus of the hotel is its own beach with free sunbeds and a feeder. They cook amazing! very tasty and varied! But in general, the hotel is absolutely not worth the money for which it is sold!
