The hotel is not 4 stars, maximum 3

I disagree that the food was excellent and there were national dishes. We rested from June 24 to July 1.2012.
Lunch was chicken and mashed potatoes. Yes, you can eat it, but I can eat such food at home, and not on about. Crete. Stuffed peppers without meat, only with rice. And the so-called national dish gyros with chicken and tortillas was the next day after there was just fried chicken. Apparently the leftover chicken was turned into a gyros. Drinks are terrible, because. carbonated drinks to drink is self-destructive, the so-called orange juice was worse than water with syrup or soluble tablets. I drank only water, adding lemons and limes to it. Wine is not for everyone and there was no rosé wine, although the hotel promises it on its website. I can’t say anything about beer, because. I don't drink it. The promised ouzo, there was no crayfish, or rather it was in the bar for a fee. Although it should have been included in the all-inclusive price. The coffee is terrible, looks like instant. It was also shocking that there was ONE spoon for stirring sugar in the cup (between breakfast and lunch, lunch and dinner). I stirred the sugar, put it in a bucket, another came, stirred it. I don't think this is a service. From the food I liked the breakfasts, because. there were cheeses, many types of cereals and jams, cookies, muffins, grapefruits and oranges, milk. That was enough for me. You could take boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, sausages, etc. I mean, the breakfast was good. For lunch and dinner there were always the same vegetables: tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers. There was meat, but it was not always eatable and the view was not always great. Fish were provided, however the sea bass was terrible in that only the heads were fried with a 2 cm strip of meat. They gave the perch out to be smoked, and the hotel kuil what is not needed, heads and served them to tourists. There was always a queue for ice cream, and for fruit too. It was shocking that people, as if they had come from a hungry land, took out watermelons in 3 plates, and then it got to the point that they ate only the middle of the burgundy color, and threw out the red part, and this despite the fact that the watermelon was served peeled from the green skin and pink parts. Sandwiches "all inclusive", between breakfast and dinner, you can eat if hungry. The bread is tasty, but the omelet or cheese put on it somehow did not impress. I think the food in a 4 star hotel could be better. The same plates for the main dishes could stand in 2 places, and not at the entrance, where the crowd crowded first for plates, then for food.
For 7 days, the bed was changed for us 1 time, towels were not changed, although in a 4-star hotel towels and bed should be changed EVERY DAY. It didn't happen and was very frustrating. One evening we were sitting on the balcony, at 22.30 a Greek came running and asked to turn off the light, that is, it was time to sleep. This is somehow not clear, people sit in the bar almost all night, and the light on the balcony should not be on.

The hotel is livable, but it is huge, too many people, children who behaved in a boorish way, the food is not at the highest level and the tunnel to the sea really cannot be called a tunnel, this is a mockery of people. 4 stars is already the level of the hotel, which was not. The hotel is quite pass for 3 stars.
