We had been planning to visit this wonderful country for a long time, but, as they say, we made it to the last (And due to the unhappy financial situation, we had to choose from what we could afford.
Before departure, we read the reviews and understood where we were going, so we focused on the advantages of the hotel, namely:
- good location. The hotel is located near the capital Heraklion, so we often went there for a walk, and there is something to see. The largest city in Crete with beautiful architecture and old churches, a large number of shops where you can shop for any budget and cozy quiet streets.
You can get directly from the hotel, the stop is 50m. The bus fare is 1.5 or 2 euros, depending on the bus route.
- The advantage of the hotel is also the proximity to the sea, it was only 5 minutes to walk to the beach. The beach is not equipped, but we took a bed with us and bought fruit from local merchants along the way.

The hotel itself looks very simple, the rooms correspond to the pictures and there was a smell of dampness upon arrival, but after our appeal to the reception, the room was aired and cleaned again)
The territory of the hotel is not big at all, there is a restaurant and a bar.
The food is very simple, I would say even meager. There was no fruit for breakfast. But for dinner every other day the Greek fried meat on the grill.
In general, the hotel barely reaches its 3 * level, but apparently takes its location. Suitable only for non-pretentious people who came to see this beautiful island, and not sit in a hotel.
