The hotel was chosen for the price-quality ratio according to our modest budget. We went with a company: my husband and I, an elderly mother and a child 2.9.
The hotel is large, green, on the territory of two beautiful pools, which were cleaned every morning and in which the water was constantly purified. I really liked the staff: the hotel guide Anna solved all issues instantly and easily with a friendly sincere smile. The owner of the hotel, Nicholas, personally approached and asked how we settled down, whether we liked everything, whether we needed anything. In addition, it was nice to receive compliments in the form of cocktails and a bottle of Cretan wine from him personally several times : ). Administrator Stella is just another song: always friendly, smiling, no matter what time of day it was, all issues were resolved with a sincere desire to help, whether it concerns personal interests or hotel ones. Jack of all trades Stomakis, Marinos the bartender, and all the rest of the staff, including the maids and restaurant workers, were all genuinely friendly and welcoming, many thanks to them for that. Because we really felt welcome at this hotel.
Our number 305 consisted of two rooms, large and bright. I liked the room because I like space and conciseness. The windows overlooked the edge of the pool, so the evening noise at the pool bar did not bother us.

The cuisine is moderately varied and concise, even tasty. I especially liked the fish fillet, stewed lamb, constant cheese in the range at any meal. Soup for dinner was usually watery and salty, we rarely took it. Very tasty pastries. In general, in 10 days I gained 2 kg : ).
The sea is really 2 km away, and stomping for 15-20 minutes in the heat is tiring. The bus transported us regularly, but sometimes we walked from the hotel and returned by bus.
The village beach is sandy and pebbly, jellyfish were never seen, but there were small black fish that sometimes pinched their legs if they stood still : )). The sea is amazing - gentle, warm, but cooling.
The beach service is represented by various sea pleasure boats, it is unobtrusive. Once we dined at the Symposium restaurant on the beach, this is a very pleasant place in all respects - fast service, large portions, a nice compliment from the establishment, in general, we ate and drank everything for 35 euros, and even got a dessert: ).
In general, we are satisfied with the trip. The Cretans are strong, kind, friendly people, it was a great pleasure to visit this glorious island. Thanks everyone! : )
