You can buy everything inexpensively there (olive oil 5l-22-23 euros, rubber flip flops 1.5 euros, beach umbrellas 4.5 euros, soap, etc. , including fruits and water). Also next to the hotel is a car rental (there are cars with a variatr box and an automatic). There is parking right behind the hotel, which is very convenient since the hotel is in the center. Excursions were taken on the spot from the Greeks. In the city of 3 local travel agencies, we asked the cheapest price for excursions at the touring club. What does with the purchase of 2 excursions 3 as a gift. There are Russian-speaking guides on excursions, double-decker buses with air conditioning, and prices are half the price of our Pegasus. I also advise shopping lovers to have fun and buy an excursion to the Gypsy market of Heraklion + a sightseeing tour of the city for 19 euros. You will not regret. Tour only on Saturdays. The market sells things ranging from 50 cents to 12 euros. There are large tables on which things lie in bulk. There are people digging. I looked at all this with disgust until I saw a beautiful swimsuit made by Greece for 1 euro. And suddenly I saw a blouse that I bought for 22 euros, there it was for 5 euros. In general, those sundresses that I carried with me were not useful to me. So do not take a lot of things from home. Females in the city of Hersonissos, look carefully, mostly leatherette. Hotel Pelamaria has a good location for 5+, the food is good, the staff is good-natured at the reception every day Agnia works, she speaks Russian, but she works either in the first shift until 15 o'clock, then in the second after 15 o'clock. All questions can be solved with her. In front of the hotel there is a bus stop by the way, which is also very convenient. A ticket to Heraklion costs 3 euros. The final stop in Heraklion is located near the promenade. Turn towards the sea and go left and a little higher you will find all the ancient sights. Have a nice rest. I recommend the hotel.
