We were in Crete in mid-May, resting with a family with 2 children (5 and 7 years old) at the Aldemar Cretan Village. They settled us quickly, there were no problems, and this is very important after a long flight, and especially when you are relaxing with children. Separately, I would like to note the food - very varied and tasty, for children there is a special children's restaurant. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The animation is beyond praise, and especially for children, our guys were busy with something all day long. The beach was a little disappointing, for children it is better to buy special shoes, although the pebbles are small, it was still not very comfortable, we love sandy beaches more, however, there are 5 pools on the territory of the hotel, the central one with sea water - so we bought plenty. Upon arrival, we were given a coupon for a free visit to the Ala Carte tavern, we really liked it - live music, delicious dishes - it was a very nice bonus. We also went to the territory of other Aldemars, in Royal Mare there is a very good playground. Adult animation is rather weak, but this is due to the fact that there were not so many vacationers yet.
From excursions we took "Children's Fun", where we visited a park with dinosaurs, an aquarium and a foundry - for children, about the same age as ours, this is what we need! Not tiresome, interesting and informative. We also went to Spinalonga - this is an excursion for the whole family. Everyone was interested, the children were not tired at all, they did not even sleep on the bus, although the tour was for the whole day. In general, the impressions of the rest are the best, I recommend this hotel to everyone, and our family will definitely return more than once!
