We rested in Crete for the second time, and we really like the island itself with its beautiful landscapes and the sea. Last year we were not in such an advertised hotel as Amirandez and were satisfied. Amirandez is beautiful, new with a claim to 6 *. But it was not without punctures. Upon arrival at the hotel (after 20.00), we were placed in a room, a class lower than we paid for. They listened to us and offered to spend the night in it, with the excuse that there was no manager on site who distributes the number of rooms. Our anger knew no bounds, we slept on suitcases in anticipation of a beautiful morning. In the morning, "this Mary", trying to get us a room with a sea view, but of a lower category, opened her eyes and carefully read our voucher. As a result, settled where necessary. It’s not clear to me - they are holding our people for idiots, or what? We don’t have eyes - we can’t distinguish sea view from garden view? We did not hear any special apologies for such a beginning of the holiday. Regarding the food: the hotel operates on the BB system, the food in the canteen is monotonous - for 13 days there were the same sausages and fried eggs. True, they gave champagne and b / n orange fresh juice - special thanks for this. BUT Of course, I understand everything, the crisis and all that - but pancake shrimp live right next to you in the sea. Never had seafood for breakfast. Price-quality - a complete mismatch, in Kalimera Kriti fed much better. For dinner, you can have a delicious meal in an a la carte restaurant - but already for 200 euros, with a bottle of inexpensive wine, really. Upon departure, they tried to charge us someone else's lunch at the pool - and on that day we were not even at the hotel. But many people face this phenomenon. The most interesting thing began on the day of departure - check-out until 12, and from 10 they started ringing the room and sending us a maid to clean up - otherwise you see they need to accommodate tourists, how I wanted to send them on a walking tour with elements of sex : -) ) Everything else in the hotel is just wonderful, nice beach, saltwater pool, beautiful design of the rooms, DVD in the rooms, free water and a bottle of wine upon arrival. Perhaps we were just unlucky in some way, but never again! A hotel for those who have never seen anything better : -(
