We spent 11 wonderful days at the AQUIS ARINA SAND hotel in Crete, which is located in the village of Kokini Hani near Heraklion from May 18 to May 28.2010. We flew from the tour operator "MTG", we purchased vouchers from the company "Bekas".
When we arrived, we were surprised by the hospitality of the hotel staff. They did everything to make us feel that Greece has everything, and it really is true! Our group consisted of 12 people and we were settled both in the main building overlooking the sea, and partially on the second line of the bungalow. The rooms are not all luxurious, but quite decent and clean. Cleaning and change of towels was done every day and no tip was required.
The hotel as a whole is very comfortable. The only drawbacks are the planes landing at Heraklion Airport, but they did not interfere and did not spoil the overall impression of the rest.
The hotel has a large and wide wonderful sandy beach. Sunbeds, umbrellas and towels by the pool and the sea for free. The sea was about 23°C and we can confess that we spent more time in the sea than on the beach!
Although we spent no less time near the bar! The bartenders have always been friendly and attentive.
The food was amazing - so tasty, fresh and varied! We enjoyed every minute tasting Greek culinary masterpieces! The menu included a lot of meat dishes, fish and seafood. Lots of vegetables and fruits. Pleased with melons and watermelons in the month of May! The hotel has a main restaurant, a tavern and several bars. There was a lot of quality food and a variety of drinks for every taste.
In addition to all this great pleasure, the hotel has recruited, in our opinion, the best international animation team in the World!! ! Tireless guys entertained us throughout the whole time offering to play various sports games (volleyball, water polo, archery competitions, mini golf, etc. ), conducting classes in water and step aerobics, pilates, yoga, dance lessons and of course, they arranged various evening shows of the program - this is something unimaginable! Plus, after the show, every evening, we had an incendiary disco! Many thanks to the animation team: Amanda, Giacomino, Aldis (aka Mario), Christina, David and of course their “boss” Alberto!! ! Thanks guys - you are the best!!!
