Quiet, comfortable hotel. It is located in the village of Kokkini Hani, not far from Heraklion (7-8 km) in the east and Hersonessos (Hersonessos) in the west (20-25 km). The hotel is located at the very beginning of the village, next to the local beach, after which the hotel's own beach begins, fenced with a small fence. We lived in a bungalow, 7-10 meters from the sea. Nobody puts stupid bracelets on you. The room has a simple color TV, of the Russian-language channels only RTR. Two beds, wardrobe, refrigerator. Bathroom - bath, toilet, soap, hair dryer. No frills. In front of the room, from the sea side, there is a platform with a flower bed, two armchairs, a table, a sea view. There is no WiFi in the hotel! Internet is available at the Reception. Or use their computer for money or connect yours for free. The speed is low. The beach is big, long and clean. The water is transparent. Sun loungers, umbrellas, fresh shower. The hotel has 2 swimming pools, one for children. Sea water, but heavily chlorinated. There is a lobby bar, a pool bar and a beach bar. Meals - all inclusive. Drinks juices, cola-fanta-sprite. Alcohol is better than in Turkey or Egypt, beer is not bad. The food is quite varied, local and mediterranean cuisine. Lots of vegetables, desserts, fruits, oranges, grapes, melons, watermelons. Once you can order free a la carte dinner on the veranda by the pool, themed, depending on the schedule. Sign up for dinner at the Reception. The staff is friendly and courteous. At the Reception there is a Russian-speaking girl Natia, Georgian, very friendly. Guys from the Baltics work part-time at the bar. animation is not as active as in Turkey, but more interesting than in Egypt. There is a mini club. You can rent a boat, scooter. In the village there are a lot of taverns, shops, car rental points (from 30 euros / day + gasoline), a SPAR supermarket. In the evening, the hotel hosts a small disco. Once a week folklore show. The hotel is designed for families. The only negative is that due to the proximity to the airport, planes often take off and land over the hotel. But it didn't annoy us.
