Rested with her husband in Crete from September 28 to October 14 in 2010. Hotel Pela Maria. I will not stay at the hotel for a long time. Normal treble. The holiday was largely successful thanks to Alex from Motor plan.

A few words about car rental. Crete has a very developed car rental system. Even those who did not originally plan to rent are rented. We took a car and two mopeds (first for 80 cubes, then for 150). Therefore, to everyone who is not ready to scatter money, I advise you to read in advance on the Internet about Crete and its attractions. And decide in advance what he would like to visit. Buying excursions is very expensive. At the same time, when buying a tour, you pay only for delivery to the place. Entrance to museums and lunch are paid separately. It is much cheaper to rent a car and drive to the place yourself. Already on the spot you can join the Russian group and listen to the guide's story. In Crete, gasoline is expensive (3 times more expensive than in Russia), so it is more profitable to take small cars. The whole of Crete can be driven from west to east or from east to west on the autobahn in 3.5 - 4 hours.

There are many companies specializing in car rental in Hersonissos, literally on every corner. We, having read all sorts of horrors on the Internet, chose a company for a long time and carefully. We stopped at Motor Plan`e. And they didn't regret it. Her employee, Russian-speaking young man Alexander Kareli became, one might say, our personal guide to Crete. The technique he gave us never let us down. Prices are acceptable. And to good people - and a special approach. But most importantly, thanks to Alex, we saw all the beauties of Crete. If Alex advised us to visit a particular beach, there was no doubt. And it was, indeed, the best beach on the coast. Alex suggested that we visit the island of Spinalonga (I assure you, you will remember it for a long time), Lake Kournas (Kourna or its turtle lake) - the beauty is indescribable and the turtles really live there. Near Hersonissos there are three small villages (5 minutes by moped) - Old Hersonissos, Piskopiano, Koutulofari. Be sure to visit in the evening. Narrow, winding neat streets, small shops and restaurants. A great place for romantics and lovers. The Cave of Zeus and the Palace of Knossos - well, this can be said to be a mandatory program - by car for about 40 minutes. By car, we visited almost all the major cities of Crete, visited Heraklion, Chania, Rethymno, Agios Nikolaos. Each city has its own flavor and none is alike. In general, Crete is an amazing place, the locals are hospitable and friendly. And thanks to Alex for the rest and greetings from Chelyabinsk! )))
