When I was choosing a hotel for my vacation, I read a lot of negative reviews about Elia Apartments. I was a little upset because the tour was already paid for and all other options were much more expensive. I did not expect anything from this hotel and was preparing for the worst, but I was pleasantly surprised.
One of the clear advantages of the hotel is its proximity to the airport. We drove only 20 minutes and did not get tired of the road. A little noisy due to low-flying aircraft, but it looks cool, the noise is tolerable, you get used to it quickly. Also the hotel is located 20-30 meters from the bus stop. It was convenient to ride in neighboring villages. I strongly advise, by the way, to go to Hersonissos. There are a lot of cafes, shops, bars and clubs. The fare is about 1.80 euros. There is also a very cool Sims coffee shop next to the hotel. The coffee and orange juice are amazing, the coffee is around a euro, there is a discount on water when you buy anything.
The hotel area is clean, spacious, with a beautiful pool, enough sunbeds and umbrellas. Everything is very green, a lot of olive bushes, which corresponds to the name of the hotel (Elia from the Greek olive).

The rooms are spacious, there is a wonderful kitchenette, air conditioning, a refrigerator, all necessary utensils, regular cleaning, there were no complaints. We had 3 balconies (in one room, the other and in the kitchen). There is a terrace with a clothes dryer. Views of the mountains, the sea and the olive grove.
Meals are half board only. Breakfasts are simple. Fried eggs, cucumbers, tomatoes, muesli, sweet bread, regular bread, cheese, sausage, delicious white cheese, olives, pie, yogurt. Coffee, tea, juice. More choice for dinner. Everything is always delicious, homemade. There were always salads, potatoes, various types of meat, rarely only fish. Tables under a canopy, in the fresh air. There was always nice music from the local radio playing. Ludmila, the woman from the reception and the restaurant, is just wonderful, she speaks Russian. The staff is generally very good. Special thanks to our hotel guide Anton, a very polite, understanding guy, he helped with everything, was available even at 6 in the morning (we went to Santorini from him and lost our bus, he solved the problem very quickly, there was no dissatisfaction with the early call in the same tone). Generally satisfied with them one hundred percent!
One of the small minuses is that the hotel is very far from the beach. 10 minutes walk at an average pace. The beaches are all very good, there are many breakwaters, small bays, it will be important for children, the beaches are sandy. The entry is often rocky, so it's best to bring swimming slippers. The coastline is very long, the beach is free, but sunbeds and umbrellas are everywhere for an additional fee. From 5-6 euros per set (2 sun loungers and an umbrella). There are many shops and cafes near the beaches. I liked the cafe Vasilakis, a very beautiful design, made in white and blue colors, beautiful wicker swing chairs. Just Santorini in miniature.
