We rested with my family in Hermes, I liked everything very much, starting from arrival. We were met at the airport, everyone was put on the buses in an organized manner, however, we had to wait a bit until everyone left the airport, but after about 20 minutes we were on our way. On the way, we were told all the necessary information, it was not boring to go, because beautiful views opened up. We arrived at the hotel in about an hour, the hotel was within the city of Malia.
The town is quite noisy, it has many clubs, bars, cafes, but our hotel was away from these places, everything was quite calm, we slept well.
The hotel had only breakfast, they served various snacks, you could make a sandwich, yogurt, buns, etc. , in principle, enough, you could eat.
Also, for an additional fee, you could order various dishes for yourself at the bar, by the way, a Russian-speaking girl works there and one girl at the reception also speaks Russian.

The hotel is decorated in bright colors, the room is clean and spacious, there is even a small kitchen where you can cook various snacks and salads, the hotel pool is quite spacious and there is parking.
It looks like it has been recently refurbished as everything was fairly new.
We rode around Crete for days on end, we rented a car from our tour operator. Be sure to return to Crete, but take more days, as the island is large and there are many places to go.
