We rested in Capsis from May 25 to June 5. We went to this hotel on purpose, we wanted a hotel with a large territory to sit there and not go anywhere. We were 3 families with children, we lived in a fairly democratic by the standards of the hotel bungalow Eternal Oasis.
We were already in Crete that year at the Stella Village hotel and drove around the island by car, so now we wanted a lazy holiday, like in Turkey - so that everything is in one place and more. In addition to our bungalows, there are two more large buildings and several villas on the territory. The territory is huge, they walked around for almost a week, the only thing was they were not allowed to go to the villas, they politely said that there was no entrance there.
What I really liked is that there is a lot of greenery. We literally lived in a real park. There is not much vegetation in Crete, but here there is a real garden, a river flows, artificial waterfalls, small lakes - it is very pleasant to walk, especially in the evenings, at dusk, when the cicadas are chirping and the air is simply amazing.

The hotel has two beaches, one has attractions, a water park, the second is considered public, shared with the local village, but there is no passage along the beach to Agia Pelagia, so we went to the village through the main entrance. On the beach, sun loungers, umbrellas - everything is free. There is another beach, but it is VIP, near the villas, where we were not allowed again)).
The bungalows are very nice, our room was overlooking the sea, but on the first floor, so the sea was not particularly visible, friends lived in a maisonette, in a two-story room, on the first floor there was a bedroom, on the second - a living room.
There is a zoo on the territory, the children often went there, they fed the ponies. There is also a children's park - Minoan, there are all sorts of attractions, performances, the children had fun there to the fullest. Entrance for a fee.
For breakfast there was a buffet, the choice is very large, and a lot of food, so to speak, from the fields - from our own botanical garden. It was possible to ask for a special children's menu, but we did not try to order. Lunch and dinner sometimes in restaurants at the hotel, sometimes went to Agia Pelagia, after all, the restaurants are quite expensive. There are 8 restaurants in total, but we only visited 5.
There is a SPA center, I was not there, a friend went, inside everything is very luxurious, but in general, nothing special, a standard set of procedures, but in luxurious interiors.
We didn’t go on excursions, we spent almost all the time on the territory, we got out to Agia Pelagia. There is no animation, as in Turkey, in the hotel, which is generally not bad, we had our own company and we did not get bored, we spent the evenings in bars, I especially liked the beach bar (the one that is closer to the bungalow), and the Poseidon tavern , in front of another beach.
There were not so many Russians here, there were more French, and almost no one from the staff knows Russian, but everyone is very friendly, and they try very hard to understand what they want from them. I don’t know any languages at all, so for the most part I explained myself with gestures.
