Rested in Crete with my husband and two small children. In Crete for the third time, I love Greece very much. But this time... Everything was somehow not successful from the very beginning.
We arrived at the hotel. We were greeted warmly at the reception. We were offered a complimentary cocktail and taken to our room. The room is about the same as in the hotel brochure, but much older and more shabby. Instead of the promised plasma - an old pot-bellied TV. The balcony is very small. I was not particularly upset, because they did not come for the sake of the number. Two days mastered and examined the territory. She is really beautiful, as they say in the reviews. Nothing extraordinary, but for Crete - very green. The Minoan park was disappointing. The kids didn't like it (10 years old and 6 years old). Everything is somehow shabby, the carousel does not work, the toys in the children's room are broken.
The zoo delivered a few pleasant minutes to the children. But these emotions were not enough for two weeks. In the catalog, a beautiful river with bridges is drawn on the map of the hotel. So, instead of a river, there is a dried-up riverbed and grass grows there. No beauty. A lot of mosquitoes.

The most interesting began later. Two days later, the air conditioner stopped working in the room. At the reception, they politely explained that they would fix it in the morning and this was a "system failure". In the morning it turned out that the air conditioning did not work for the entire building. During the night with the window open, everyone was bitten by mosquitoes. The next evening, returning to the room, found a complete lack of light. At the reception, they explained this to problems with light throughout the town. Indeed, there was no light anywhere in Agia Pelagia. But the hotel had its own generator, which served the more expensive hotels of the complex (Talassa, Crystal Energy, etc. ). We got electricity at 5 am. The next evening, history repeated itself. In short, the problems with the light continued with them until the very departure. It turned on, then it turned off. Every evening, a group of activists gathered in the lobby at the reception and demanded a change of rooms, etc. But the hotel management did not make any concessions. Plus, the building is being cleaned all the time, cleaners burst into the rooms. despite the signs posted asking you not to disturb. Towels may not be changed at all, even though they lie on the floor. They just take it and get nothing in return.
The food is normal. Nothing outstanding, but I won't criticize either. Did not like the small selection of ingredients for the "homemade" salad and chopped fruit.
The beach is normal, you need to lie close to each other, but there are always places.
It should be borne in mind that from the Oasis you will have to stomp for breakfast and dinner in the Crystal Energy building. Either through the garden along the paths (which we did not light up), or along the beach. It didn't bother me. But the air in the Oasis is cool!
In general, I won't go there again. The first time I chose "not my" hotel.
