Rested with her husband in Crete at the end of July. We planned the trip in advance, chose a hotel for a long time, the main criteria were an affordable price, a calm and quiet place, good beaches. We chose the Triton Hotel, which is located in Stalis, a 30-40 minute drive from the city of Heraklion. This is a small cozy hotel owned by a Greek family. When we arrived, we were very friendly welcomed by Kostas, the main manager of the hotel, the hotel guide Ekaterina helped with filling out the questionnaire. Since we arrived in the morning, around 10 o'clock, we had to wait a little while we were shown to the room, since the check-in at the hotel is at 12 o'clock. While waiting for the settlement, we walked around the city, had breakfast in a tavern by the sea. The room we got was nice, small, but bright and clean. We only had breakfast at the hotel, the choice is quite small, but everything is delicious and homemade. The hotel has a small swimming pool, the hotel is located on the beach, so the nearest beach is two minutes walk. The territory of the hotel deserves special attention! Everything is so well maintained and beautiful, we were just delighted. Often sat with her husband on the balcony and admired the local scenery. Near the hotel there are a huge number of taverns and restaurants for every taste and budget, many shops and souvenir shops, there is a bus stop next to the hotel, you can get to the nearest city of Hersonissos, Heraklion or the city of Agios Nikolas. We went to the capital of the island, the city of Heraklion, and also bought an excursion to the island of Spinalonga. I would like to express special gratitude to our guide Elina.
